I've been chelating Mercury with ALA for close to 2 years and have had a lot of imbalances, mostly because of what I think is Magnesium Deficiency. I take oral Mg every day - chelates, and I spray Mg oil on skin, and I started soaking my feet in Mg oil 2 days ago, but I still got palpitations today.
I think I've been taking in too much real salt. I put 1/4th tsp in my soup every day, and I salt other foods quite a bit. I think I need to lay off the salt.
Salt can displace various minerals.
Should I resort to Natural Calm?
If you want natural sources of magnesium then chlorophyll is the best. Not chlorophyllin supplements, but rather dark green leafy vegetables or better yet chlorella. Chlorella also binds heavy metals.
If you are going with a supplement I prefer magnesium malate to the magnesium citrate in Natural Calm.
