Hi 135505,
Instead of Epsom salts try a soapsuds enema. Use two teaspoons of castille soap, I prefer liquid castille soap, for a 2 quart cleansing enema followed by a 2 quart saline solution enema.
Doing enemas daily should not be a problem. This is an excerpt from one my answers: “Personally, I have taken daily enemas for quite a while with no ill effects. My enemas were 2 quarts of different solutions, and once a week I took a series soapsuds enema with a saline solution rinse.
I feel that there is a slight danger if you take only a very small enema, Fleet size bottle, as this will only result in a very small bowel movement but giving you a feeling of having a larger BM,
Otherwise I see no harm in a daily enema. Don’t worry about it becoming dependant. Even after ten years of daily enemas most people return to normal BMs within a few days after stopping their daily enemas.”

Hi charlieboy,
Sounds to me that you are dehydrated. Before taking a cleansing enema make sure that you are well hydrated. I suggest drinking several glasses of water or electrolyte drink several hours before the enemas.
Usually taking a series soapsuds enema is a very deep cleansing in preparation of some procedure. I used in preparation to a water fast. I go on a 3 day juice fast with a series SSE (Soap Suds Enema) every evening then the following day go on a 3 day water fast. I do not recommend these enemas as daily or even a weekly protocol. So if you want to try a 2nd and 3rd enema go ahead but be sure to take a saline solution enema after.
I don’t recommend plain water enemas because of the retention of the plain water can cause an imbalance in our electrolytes.
I hope this answers your questions.
