I'm not sure if it is the CDC that has been bought and sold or if it's the American public. Whichever one it is, the American public loses to the private interests of the Milk and Dairy Association. In a recent article published in the New York Times, the CDC claims that raw milk is more dangerous than pasteurized milk, and not just more dangerous, one hundred and fifty times more dangerous. Analysis of the same research data used by the CDC shows these numbers to be false and misleading. The CDC chose to ignore the data on pasteurized milk, and omitted damaging data on pasteurized milk that occurred in the year following the cutoff date for their analysis and the years preceding -

It's a sad day when government organizations pursue the money of private interests, over the interests of the people whom they are appointed to serve.
