Hi,
Can I ask what you are on birth control for? Chaste Berry is a replacement for birth control because it will balance out your hormones, thus cleaning up any skin issues and will balance out your cycle within 6 months. It's recommended for women who need to regulate periods etc, as well as those who are looking to get off of birth control. It helps to balance things out for you.
If you can, i recommend getting off of birth control immediately. It causes candida and is not natural/will do more harm than good in the long run for your body. Since you are already not getting feelings down there while on it, I would recommend getting off of it and trying something else-like Chaste Berry. You can try a different, cheaper brand, unfortunately I tried other brands myself but none work the same. The two other brands I tried were not nearly as effective, they did not clear up my zits or soothe my pms temper, like the medi herb brand did and does.
As for a candida diet. I've done.. a lot of things. oh boy. The biggest thing is the diet. No sugar, for a long time I cut out all fruit too. There are only a small amount of fruits that are okay to have while on a detox. You can probably google a ''candida friendly fruits'' list. Some include, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries.
So I would recommend following a strict diet. No wheat. I fortunately have alternatives for the diet...I make these homemade pancakes that I can toast during the week and use for the ends of sandwiches or as toast with eggs. The flowers I use are buckwheat flour, amaranth flour, tapioca starch, and arrowroot flour. As for grains in the morning, porrige is probably okay-although it tends to turn into
Sugar quicker than the alternatives like buckwheat, quinoa, and red rice. These can be baked overnight in a rice cooker and will be ready for you to eat for breakfast.
As for dressings, I use coconut oil on top of my ''homemade pancake toast'' as well as on warm cereals etc. It has a lot of great anti-fungal properties and contains lauric acid which will give your immune system a big boost. Also, putting it on the face before bed helps to keep your skin smoothe and fights off any potential bacteria that is festered in your skin! Just make sure you get cold-pressed virgin coconut oil, the refined stuff is not necessary. Be sure to cook with olive oil and avoid eating things like corn chips, anyuthing that has a weird oil in it like cotton seed oil, sesame seed oil, peanut oil, etc. These are all bad oils that contain saturated fats and that feed candida.
Eat lots of greens. Vegetables, vegetables, vegetables and protein-should be your life. Of course the best meat is from the farmers market. Avoid cold cuts, they are full of carcinogens that wil feed the candida.
Fortunately you an have rice which is good, although there is a lot of debate over white or brown. Brown rice is heavier and cannot be absorbed/turned into
Sugar for the candida as immediately as white rice is. Although I would try to use both, just swap them, so you have a variety and don't get allergic to one. You can even mix them for a lighter tasting mix, that doesn't feed the candida too quickly.
That's good that your on some of your own vitamins, like a b vitamin. It's hard to say what vitamins are truly necessary when you have candida in your system. I've heard of B's being good, I used them as an emmotional crutch since I was twelve though, so I decided to cut them out a year ago because I found they had lost their effect on me. I figured I may have been consuming too much of a good thing.
Anyways, flaxseed can be purchased at the store and if you grind it up (you may be able to buy pre-ground flaxseed too), you should have two teaspoons daily.
Now.. if you don't have too much mola around, I would start using oil of oregano and see if you can handle it. It is the fiercest anti-fungal out there. I've used tamer things like olive leaf extract and grapefruit seed extract, but oil of oregano is known for killing not just candida, but
parasites and anything and everything harmful under the moon. It will also boost up your immune system.
Apparentally it is ideal to take three drops six times a day. But I am certainly no where near able to do this myself yet. So far I am having it twice a day sporatically and am noticing the uncomfortable die off effect of gas. Joy! But hey, it's these little signs that show something bad is being killed. And since a lot of people with candida may have
parasites too, mind as well kill two birds with one stone.
These days I just have psyillium before bed with a drop or two of oil of oregano in it. I have some vitamin d, a C1000 and a zinc. Calcium is always very important and I want to get back into that again.
I do stand behind sacchromyces boulliardi still right now. I have one with my breakfast. You can research it, it helps to put friendly bacteria back into your gut while killing off candida simultaneously.
By starting these changes you should be on the right track. I know what i'ts like to deal with this while being in school, and I'm sure the stresses of school do not help your ailments much at all. Just keep fighting and you will get the health you want.
I would also recommende cooking with onions and garlic to get their anti-fungal benefit too.
Just go slow, don't wear yourself out. L-Glutamine powder and then the chaste berry (one tablet three times daily-some do two a day though and are fine), is the rest of my regime. L-Glutamine is for immunity and it strengthens the stomach to prevent and repair potential leaky guts, so that the candida doesn't spread/can no longer spread to other organs.
I hope some of my regime may be of benefit to you. I would definitely do the yoga thing. That is something I still need to commit too. Stretching out your muscles, and breathing oxygen throughout your whole body is a sure way to fight off all kinds of ailments.
Make sure you aren't drinking any alcohol etc. Avoid even milk as well as soy milk. Try almond breeze original for a nice alternative.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
