Being an olive oil base it does not mix with liquid well. The only other way I used to take it - put it in empty capsules. That way there is no taste or burning at all.

As to putting it directly into the mouth - I got used to it eventually. I have a wisdom tooth which refuses to grow, so I just rub in 2-3 drops of oregano oil in the area. That way the bacteria is killed around the tooth and gums + the bloodstream gets some oil as well! When other teeth hurt on occasion - I also rub on the gums some oil - the pain is gone!

You can fill empty capsules with oil of oregano drops for high doses. I use 3 double 00 caps full for 15 days in a row when fighting infections - with our without conventional Antibiotics . For children you can rub it into their feet before bed. You can rub it into anyone's shins since the skin is very thin and the oil will absorb into the bloodstream through the tissue.
