Hi there, I thought I would join your community to see if anyone could advise/help me please?
Please can anyone tell me if there are any other ways besides a colonoscopy to dx crohns disease please? Ive been so sick for the last 2 years and have lost half of my body weight in a 14 month period, my body is not absorbing nutrients and im deficient in the following;
Carnitine
Inositol
Niacin
Proanthocyanidins
Vanadium
Acidophilus
My Gp thinks that this is all in my head and that Iv been dieting :( even though my daughter has a dx of crohns and is exactly like me with her symptoms. Colonoscopy doesnt show anything, yet the stuff you drink to have an mri only took 10 minutes to reach my terminal ileum and they found thickiening in the wall of my sigmoid colon.
The GI dr said its IBS and basically go home and live with it.
My hairs falling out, I have blisters on my gums with a burning mouth, I also have a hiatus hernia. Atm I have pain around my navel with pain in my shoulder blade, its even made me throw up, Iv managed to have a few bowel movements so I dont think its a blockage, but the skin on my tummy seems to be pulled really tight around my navel and its actually protruding more than usual.
I have had these problems since a child worsening with age, please if anyone can advise me it will be so appreciated. I follow a low residue diet, take 80 mg Oxycontin am & pm after weaning myself of 42 tablets a day ( I felt like I was being poisoned & my whole body was bloated) I now use cannabis as my main medication and it relieves the awful burning in my tummy and rectum.
I usually catch every cold or bug, in previous years iv bn so ill after my flu jab, spending nearly 3 mnths with some cough or cold of some description, this year however, i decided against the jab and I have only had a couple of mild colds this winter. I wonder if it was the jab making me so sick, is this possible please?
Im on antibs for a recurrent urine infection also.
Has anyone got any ideas or info on what I may try or where I may find an understanding dr here in the UK
Sorry if its so jumbled but I really have a lot going on with me nd no help from my GP Im waiting a 2nd opinion.

I had no idea the hernia I have is what has been contributing to my problems, I only developed the hernia after surgery near my diaphragm. Prior to this my bowel problems started around aged 4 yrs old.
I used to get every cough or cold going about, im learning so much from reading myself, I now know what makes me sick if I et it, that has helped lots.
I never realized it could make me so sick. This is a reply to # 1,899,524you're welcome and good luck. It took me few years to realize it was hernia that made me sick and now when I eat right and massage my belly everyday I'm fine. Unfortunately no doctor
will tell you that because firstly they don't know or care and secondly they prefer to sell you drugs anyway.
One more tip, increase amount of water you drink - it helps fix hernia but also hernia can develop because dehydration and most adults are not drinking enough water.

This is a reply to # 1,898,840To bring myself back to a better state of health I used Hulda Clark 's programs. This is one of the programs featured at the Liver Flush Support Forum to restore digestive and whole body health and the different peograms are effective for many people. There are also individual forums for these health experts. Even with the programs for parasites, improving kidney and liver function and detoxing pollutants and toxins in the body I still had to find out the underlying problem which in my case was Celiac Disease and a form of Leaky Gut Syndrome caused by gluten sensitivity and intolerance.
Find out from your Dr if you have been tested for Celiac Disease. If the tests were negative it may have been because you did not follow a gluten challange diet before having the tests done. Even then about 20% of people will give a false negative so it may be necessary to have a DNA genetic marker test or a Molecular Serology test to rule out this problem.

This is a reply to # 1,899,525it does, read carefully the article there are diet tips and video link how to correct it manually by yourself. It takes time to get it right but there no other way. Do your own research and learn about the condition so you understand it.

Intresting. Your IBS symptoms could be related to the flu vaccine. The seasonal flu jabs do have mercury in them. Thermisal is still put into seasonal flu jabs by the pharma companies that manufacture them. I've never had the flu shots, but I have had amalgams/mercury filings. Mercury is known to cause gut issues like leaky gut and IBS symptoms. I would start researching the mercury connection with the vaccines that you've had as one possible avenue to investigate. This is a reply to # 1,898,840check out humaworm.com Over the past couple years my healthy 21 yr old daughter has developed severe hand eczema, irritable bowel, and recently severe anemia. Recently she was diagnosed with a parasite which is usually hard to find in stool so she was lucky. After doing lots of research I came across this site. It's too early to tell as she is still on the first set of Humaworm.Google it and you will find lots of people that have been cured from many ailments by doing the cleanses both from this company and others. You can email Dr Bailey with your history and she will tell you which protocol to use. She is very busy so give her a couple days to answer. parasite and worms can cause so many ailments. If you are in a car accident or get shot, stabbed or some other injury doctors are great, but for disease they are worthless and useless. You can knock out IBS with aloe vera. No drugs, no ignorant doctors just good cheap natural healing with a free and healthy plant. I can but the leaves in the grocery store where I live for a dollar and a half per leaf. I also have many plants growing in my yard for free. I drink one large leaf every day mixed with coconut water and flax seed.
