I make my own water kefir, and drink some of that every day or every other day. I buy a wide variety of brands of kefir and yogurt from places like the co-op, Whole Foods, supermarket and Trader Joe's And, I have purchased a variety of probiotic supplements, most often from Swanson Vitamins, an online company. I also try to eat live fermented foods such as sauerkraut and miso. I take probiotic capsules with every meal if I'm not having yogurt or kefir with it.
Although it was not what I was aiming for, the probiotics and cultured foods seem to be resulting in a lot of cleansing of my colon and digestive tract. My bowel movements have what appears to be old, hardened mucoid plaque in them most mornings.
