Medical tests for coinfections are really unreliable with high false results.

Testing for lyme -Igenex is a lab in Palo Alto California and is one of a few reliable labs. Call your doc and ask if he is willing to order a blood draw and to send the blood to Igenex by overnight shipping. There website will give lots of info on how to test.

Look into nutritional IV's or Myers cocktail. If you ahve been sick for a long time your immune system is not working too good. The Myer's cocktail is all minerals and vitamins. No matter what the infection you have this will be helpful since it boost the immune system. Your symptoms will reduce by 30-50 percent if you stop eating Sugar and wheat. Also limit other carbs. This is hard, esp when you don't feel well, I know, but all the carbs and Sugar feeds the badies and alot of Lyme folk are reactive to wheat and that just destroys the body's ability to to cope.

The Myer's cocktail is not in and of itself a solution for Lyme, but it helps and is usually used in conjunction with Lyme treatment. Its pricey, but lots of Lyme people have malabsorption syndrome so getting minerals and vitamin straight into the blood stream is really helpful. Its done every two weeks and here on the east coast it costs about 250 per IV.
Hang in there and don't give up. There are so many treatments for LYme. From Rifing to Antibiotics , everything helps, but without sleep and diet changes it is hard to manage no matter how much you spend on treatment. Keep writing us.

when I was diagnosed with encephalitis, I lost the ability to type. My typing became extremely slow, with at least a second passing before I could make my fingers hit the next key. Even then I had every 2nd or 3rd key stroke was wrong. I had trouble writing and speaking as well. My memory recall was very slow and spotty. When I would drive my car people would honk at me and I would have no idea of why. I burned everything I tried to cook. Are you having symptoms like that.

The tick that causes lyme in the us is called a deer tick. It is very small. Is that the tick that is causing problems in AUS? If so, was the tick that bite you on your brow the size of a poppy seed, Sesame seed or larger. If it was larger than a sesame seed and you were in the us, I wouldn't even get the tick tested or be too concerned about it. If it was small like a poppy seed I would be very suspicious.
