Leila, by accident I discovered DMSO was a great detoxer, I was three weeks into two hundred mgs of iodine, when it rained on my parade, I felt depressed and worn down. "hexheimer" I had used DMSO topically for years, mixed w/ aspirin, and applied on sore muscles and joints, and taken orally with B complex to encourage my body use of them.
I am also aware DMSO is a mild diuretic and if taken in large amounts will dehydrate the body. So I take a couple tablespoons of DMSO w/ my iodine, within hours, about twelve, all my detox symptoms were gone, and I felt very well. I now use dmso to make molecular atomic iodine, which seems to stop any detoxing symptoms. So it takes little DMSO to remove toxins released by
Iodine therapy.
I also live in an area, wes texas, where quarter-horse racing is a way of life and the track docks use DMSO as an anti-inflammatory. Most horses an hour prior to race time will receive a gallon main lined, IV, to remove any inflammation in their blood and body prior to going into the gate. A few of those horses are valued over a million dollars, so I must surmise the owners would not wish for any harm to come to them.
Also DMSO is used to maintain transplant organs, ie stem cells for example, so it seems it is safe orally.
Also the Swedes released a fifteen year study on depression, in which they found,
Depression to be caused by an unknown viral infection in the blood, which in turn causes blood inflammation, stopping the body from making or manufacturing neuro-transmitters, dopamine and serotonin, also that same infection causes disruption of the thyroid gland. Hence DMSO is a quality anti-depressant, when used in small amounts orally, no sides, something that big pharma would not wish publicly known, as they do sell a lot of anti-depressants and thyroid medication, which of course only treat the symptoms and not the cause of depression.
I think they do a lot of that. I hope I have addressed your question, david lubbock tx.
