No this is incorrect. The oil does not need to be refrigerated. Now flax seed oil must be refrigerated. Some companies give incorrect dosage on their bottles too. The oil needs to be taken 1/2 hour before breakfast with honey or orange juice and before sleep. Not with food. The only time you would refrigerate a bottle of oil is when you plan to keep it for a very long time such as 6 months or more. A normal size bottle is 8 ounces and if you are taking a minimum of 1 teaspoon a day, the bottle would not last one month.
Heating the seeds is correct way to do to avoid stomach upset and I am so glad you are having a good response. I take the stuff daily, but i buy hemani oil from Saudi Arabia.
The Blessed Seed is not on my recommendation list anymore. If you find them acceptable then I wish you well. I use to be a consultant for them, but not anymore.
Their customer service is absolutely awful and they have had many shipments that did not arrive. When my clients had problems, they would not even write to them and explain.
I had to apologize for them many times. Having a good product is one thing, but when they cannot back up their product with accurate and responsible customer service, I must not recommend or help in any way. I was hired in the first place because they knew nothing about how to use the oil as evident with your poor instructions.
Many cancer patients contacted me about purchasing oil from them with promises of cures. These people had stage IV cancer and as we all know black seed can not cure stage III and IV. If you have any questions, feel free to come to my forum.
Other than that you are free to purchase where you like. Wishing you good health.
