Its been about 3 and a half months since I had my infected teeth removed. I found a doc who uses electrodermal screening who said I had dental infections and then went to a dentist who screened the same way. For a guy who flossed twice a day, had clean xrays and no pain I was surprised when the dentist pulled six black/green infected teeth out of me.
Now that is done my first doc believe one or two doses of antiparaistic meds will do the job. I am finishing a three week course of albendazole tomorrow. Things are better-my black specs on my trunk are almost gone, scalp itch is greatly reduced,still cough, still lots of fatigue and strangley enough I get hand and feet sensations now-like the little guys ran to the hands and feet.
I also go to a local homeopathic women who claims the my immune system has suddendly turned on-after the dental was cleaned up. Im not entirely sure.
I know Dr. Amin relates morgellons to dental materials-I also got all of my metal replaced with material that I am compatable with.
First question-any thoughts-could I be on the right path?
Second-has anyone else looked at hidden dental infections being the cause of lower immune system and hense morgellons?

PS-I would be very curious if anyone else has tied dental infections to parasite issues-or tried to cure themselve this way-even if you failed.
There must be a reason our immune systems dont fight this off like others do.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,843,831hands and feet is possibly neurapathy from the parasitic meds see if beets ( not milk thistle ) and liver cleaners burdock lemon help. happened to me thought same as u until i read a post from a accupuncture doc who had this who related it to the meds ( i took herbs but i guess both hard on the liver ). I read a pubmed ( google it for details ) article saying they had seen perphial ( sp ) neuropathy in cirrhosis patients ( not saying that is what is wrong but it is hard on the liver and I guess it has to recover ).
You are brave and smart with the teeth my dentist does not want to pull mine... calm mag 3x keeps it from flaring up but I gotta deal with it will check out the electrodermal thx

This is a reply to # 1,844,054It is so confusing to me, he did a root canal but that tooth ( maybe not the same tooth who knows feels like it ) has faired up again to the point where there was this lump again on my gum. When I first got this problem I had a lump like this that did not go away. Last time I went I had been in such pain like the nerve dying for a week the boom gone. .He could not tell for sure from the xray if that had happened did not do the final test electric to see for some reason. It does not bother me at all anymore...
I guess I just keep taking the mag hoping for the right path on this. I want some teeth... Hopefully since I am doing better I can get it all straightened out.
To respond to your question I am not sure he knows if they are infected. Super sweet man and goes easy when charging me but conservative views and wants to save the tooth. I hate all the materials they use, plastic from china that kind that has xenoestrogens blahhh, who knew

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,844,334Interesting-I just wonder. My dentist says all root canals are infected. I really wonder if dental could be the missing piece-something lowers our immune system and lets morgellons in.
FYI-none of my six teeth hurt or had any symptoms-yet below the gum line and into the jaw they were black/green and infected. I am a big believer in elctro-dermal testing for dental.
My dentist always says save the patient not the tooth!
He also will test all of the material to make sure you arent allergic to them.
Anyone else have dental issues and parasites or morgellons?
Something the medical community doesnt usually look at is causing this-lyme-dental-cpn-other?

This is a reply to # 1,844,355Teeth rotting is a symptom of Morgellons. I don't believe it's the other way around (teeth causing Morgellons) because my 10 yr old son has it and has never had cavities or fillings. Also it wouldn't explain why dogs get it as well. But, it's always a good thing to get your teeth fixed because it can cause toxicity and an overactive immune system. I do believe that having fillings that contain mercury and other heavy metals can make M worst as well as certain foods and medications.
Dr. Amin swears by his claim that teeth toxicity causes Morgellons but I haven't heard of anyone who got better from cleaning their teeth up. His updates on his patients all say that they are improving somewhat but not completely healed. I researched his theory a lot since I live in Arizona and thought about seeing him. Before I wasted the money, I wanted to know if it worked for others and I was not able to find the answer to that question.Advertisement

I cannot say I have been cured yet but things are better.
My guess is that there can be many reasons for an immune system to allow morgellons in and dental would only be one reason
Question-has you son gotten his teeth check using electrodermal screening?

I was also surprised to not find any blogs or any discussion of Dr. Amin getting people better with his process. I spoke to him over the phone and I believe he told me it takes about 1 year.
His resume is a good as they get for paraistes.

That would be me, all three. Somehow, I think they go together. It took three denists to find a crack tooth, that also had a root canal. All five or six, of my root canals had part of the root left. I am not totally well, but still have one to be removed. When I saw doctors I would ask them if it could be my teeth, their reply ask the denist, then the denist would say ask the doctor. It is really the alopath city.
I think, it is possible to have morgellons without having root canals or dental infections. In that case something else must be responsible for lowering the immune system.
You are on the right track, I've made a remarkable recovery, from this. The key, build the immune system any way possible, including parasite clean up. Strange stuff.

This is a reply to # 1,844,355Your tooth decay is a RESULT of Morgellons! I just had to have over $10,000 in dental work done. Morgellons is caused by a small tropical FLY. The black fibers and black mush or TAR that comes out of our skin is actually fly feces. You can read all of the evidence on a UK webiste. Just google Morgellons and Micromyaisis UK. Every single symtpom of my Morgellons is described in that article. I had black mush ocme out of my pores as well as black fibers and strangly, my new toilet seat now has a black stain on it hat will not even come off with bleach.

This is a reply to # 2,104,698Oh, I forgot to mention that the article says that this infection (tropical black fly) causes TOOTH EROSION. I am a very clean person, I brush and floss twice daily, and yet my teeth have been melting away. I had no idea why. After reading that article, I now understand.

This is a reply to # 1,843,831oh i forgot my chrio gave me adrenal glandular and thymus glandular and when i added cinnamon clove and honey i knew my immune system turned on i could feel this heat and tingling i guess ( different from neurapathy ) where i had the morgellons lasted a couple of days really cool guess point is seemed clear to me what was happening esp the heat sensation

Dr. Omar Amin is a parasitologist in Scottsdale, AZ. He has a lab where he sees patients and will test for parasites. He believes Morgellons is caused by dental toxicity and treats it by suggesting extensive dental work. You can go to his website at http://www.parasitetesting.com
I think he has info on Morgellons there but he has also written an article about it so if you search Google, you will find it.
Like I posted before, I did research on him and decided to go to another doctor in Scottsdale for Morgellons. He also has his own lab and tested my blood showing that I have a new blood parasite. He believes this is the cause for Morgellons/ CFS/ Fibromyalgia and other chronic illnesses and treats it similar to Lyme. He is a member of the Lyme Organization. This is a reply to # 1,846,424I guess he is a General Practitioner who went to school for pathology and while seeing many patients with chronic illnesses discovered that they had a parasite in their blood that has a biofilm around it. So, he opened his own Lab and spent a lot of his own money trying to identify this parasite. I saw him for Morgellons because he has seen this in a few of his Morgellons patients. He tested my and my son's blood and sure enough, we had it. He claims that the protozoa is encased in a biofilm containing viruses, bacteria, fungus, and other pathogens which can be excreted from any organ including the skin.
He has me on low dose Antibiotics taken only a few days a week until my immune system can handle it. It's a slow and long process and I am still having Herx (die-off) which is what he wants to avoid. Eventually, he may put me on an antifungal or anti-parasitic. I don't know if this will work but, I'm willing to try anything at this point.Advertisement

It is good that in the past few years the CDC has begun to research Morgellons. Finally a disease that was questioned is getting real attention, and rightfully so, for all the sufferes out there need attention!
I have researched a lot, my family member has suffered and the dental materials inside your mouth could be causing you to run inside your house! It was for her. She found relief by seeing a parasite doctor. She is healed now, after all of that time and suffering it would have been nice to know that a Dentist caused her pain (not intentionally). No more of those fibers sticking up through her skin and big red rashes Morgellons Cure

FYI- I think my dental was hidden infections although I also changed out all of my metals.

I see that this is an older forum. I decided to post anyway. Around 2005 I first got blisters on my legs. Itched terribly. Had clear stuff coming out after busting them and took weeks for it to go away. Kept coming back. Only had it back again like that very few times in the last 3 to 4 years. That's how I see it all started. It changed to be lessons on my trunk, legs and scalp about 5 years ago. Earlier than that actually. It was few little lesions then over time progressed to many. Through a microscope lens I see the blue, black, red, and clear fibers in the scabs I have to remove to get relief from itching. A couple of years back my teeth started cracking up. They are all gum line level and in bad shape. Tried a lot of things with little success. I need to get dental work done and I found this form. I'm 64 now and don't know if I will survive much longer concerning all the symptoms. It's no doubt that its morgellens.- Re: morgellons dental #216446

This is a reply to # 2,354,288Did you do any treatments over the last several years? I have very similar symptoms to yours. Did you read the Morgellon's book out just a month or two by Ginger Savely? She shares briefly what has helped in her treating of 900 Morgellon's patients. It's not cheap, and she suggests getting an alternative medicine practitioner. It won't go away on it's own. Requires a full on attack with meds and herbs, etc. to re-build the immune system, heavy metal de-tox, other things.
In my case, dental is a big issue too. Gums are rotting, aching. Open sores in mouth in which I can bring out parasites by applying oregano oil--(works best) or Ivermectin 5%, or other worm killers. Life sucks now.
