This is a reply to # 1,836,914I would try a functional medicine doctor. S syndrome is linked to autoimmune and there are doctors who are successful at treating it that work in alternative/integrative medicine. Conventional medicine has no cause or cure for anything it seems.

This is a reply to # 1,836,921I am getting started with your suggestion. I got to admit I know nothing about that disease, and of course, I do not want my sister in the hands of a pharma doctor (they are prescribing steroids -short course).

This is a reply to # 1,836,926Is there a possibility to make her immune system stronger? Could she control/or better heal? what the causes for this might be? How can she help herself better away from conventional doctors? Is stress a main cause for this?
She has been affected with skin rashes and rapid heartbeat before this diagnostic. I used to think that her adrenals may be in a very bad shape.. but I live in another state and never had the chance to talk much to her about this-you know how it is. And she was brainwashed by the system...now she is open to any suggestions...but I do not know how to get her started in a different road (if)..

This is a reply to # 1,836,965I have heard of people who had S syndrome and it went away after gluten and food allergy elimination. functional medicine MDs will know how to take care of the leaky gut and that's one possible way of autoimmune to persist.

Yes, but this needs to be done through the adrenals. Simply increasing white blood cell activity can make the problem worse.

Yes. Again primarily through strengthening the adrenals.

Several viruses are suspected in primary Sjogren's.

It is a big contributing factor. So are stimulants and steroids.

Good, steroids can actually make the underlying condition worse by further atrophying the adrenals.

My sister is in her 50's. Can you help?Sjogren's is an autoimmune disorder that can be secondary to other autoimmune conditions or has been found to occur after several viral type infections.
Treating autoimmunity is best done by first addressing triggering pathogens linked to many autoimmune disorders then building up the adrenal glands. I have more details in my Autoimmunity write up:

I just need to ask you. If Lupus is the primary cause-as it has been suggested to her by one doctor- would she still have the same chances to recover with the same "treatment" (addressing the old infections and supporting the adrenals).
I know that she has experienced many skin rashes and also rapid heart beats during years already, prior to this "dry everything" condition -kind of new symptoms for her at the present.
She has also endured HUGE, HUGE, HUGE STRESS in her life.

So lupus is not really going to be the cause but can rather be an associated disorder.
