It looks like Giardia. They seems more oval shape. Not sure but that what it seems to me.

Hi. Just found this forum actually. These look like amoebic cysts. They may not in themselves be pathogenic, but could cause changes in the microbiota.
They look pretty active, and I would note them as a concern.
They may be classified as benign by specialists, but my experience has been there is not enough info on these creatures to make those assumptions. Shroom

I didn't answer your post on the parasite Forum because this computer monitor does not show any details in the brown rectangle. When I first started doing lab work we used the Iron hematotoslyn stain but soon used the easier to do Trichrome stain. The details of Giardia and Dientamoeba trophozoites and cysts would show up clearly with the IH and Trichrome but sometimes with Giardia the inner details of the cysts would not stain with the Trichrome. All the Giardia I found were easily identifiable except for once when there were only cysts present which did not take up the stain. I thought they might be Coccidia but sent them off to an expert and they were unstained Giardia cysts. Dientamoeba takes more attention to inner morphology to ID.
