In my opinion colloidal silver will only help and if it were me I would take plenty of it internally along with keeping colloidal silver constantly applied externally - such as a soaked cotton ball you keep re-applying the CS to. I cannot over-emphasize the importance of keeping the silver constantly in contact with the affected area.
Also if it were me and I was not getting the results I desired, I would seriously consider one of the top quality commercial colloidal silver products (two stand out far and above the rest). I believe that homemade silver works pretty well for most things, but some of the more difficult ones benefit most from the really high quality stuff. That is why I recommend that people who make their own silver solutions at home also keep a couple of bottles of the really good stuff around just in case something really bad comes along.
I like the other items you have chosen too. Oil of oregano and high quality manuka honey are good topically as well as internally. The oregano will likely have a greater effect topically on MRSA type infections, but the honey is good too and will help with healing once you get the upper hand on the infection. CS, oil of oregano and manuka honey is a combo I recently used for a nasty spider bite infection and I would use the same combo for any topical infection.
I suggest also taking a good probiotic the help keep good intestinal flora established (and take it apart from the other items).
All the best,
DQ
I also used Bentonite Clay for the spidey bite. It is great at drawing out infections. The reason that I did not include it for an MRSA type infection is that I found it really tricky to keep the bentonite clay from drying out the rest of the concoction I made. Even though I diluted it to an almost runny consistency with colloidal silver, it turned rock hard in fairly short order. Once the mix dries out, the CS (and likely other ingredients) are not doing the job nearly as well as when they are kept moist.
I used my salve-type mix with a guaze bandage poultice style. I suppose one could use a cotton ball or more guaze folded a few times and then keep applying silver via a dropper to keep it from drying out like mine did.
Very true about keeping the clay wet. I should have mentioned that we had to keep soaking the cloth that was wrapped around the clay (and his leg) every 10 minutes or so for the first couple hours. It probably wasn't doing much after that.
I'd probably just use the liquid form in the future (kind of a creamy consistancy). It would be easier to apply and likely stay moist longer. I would do it separately from any other treatment in the same area because the clay will hoover the good stuff too.
Yes, we are talking about topical bentonite clay. In my opinion (actually in my knowledge and research), Purest Colloids Mesosilver and CZ sponsor Utopia Silver's Advanced Colloidal Silver are head and shoulders and then some above the rest - especially for internal use. Utopia Silver also makes an Advanced Ionic Silver which might be preferable for topical use.
Note that I have no connection to Purest Colloids and recommend it solely because it is such a superior product, though I do have an affiliate relationship with Utopia Silver (the owner is a lifelong friend). However, I receive no personal benefit unless I give an affiliate link to them, which I do not do in public support forums - and friendship and relationship aside, I would recommend their product regardless because of its quality.
No reason not to take both the commercial and homemade solutions. I would take anywhere from 2 to 8 ounces daily depending upon the severity of the infection and then once the infection was mostly conquered cut back to a couple of ounces a day and eventually taper off to just a tablespoon or two before stopping. That can get a bit pricey - though one of the companies has a buy one, get one free regular special for first time buyers and last time I looked they had a 50% off sale going on, either of which could help a lot with the cost. Thus you might wish to cut those amounts in half after the first couple of days and augment with more of the homemade. So long as the silver solution is properly made, I think you can hardly take too much over the very short term.
You probably got the Aztec brand? Lots of heathfood stores carry that and yes, don't take it internally. But it's powerful stuff for skin, baths, foot baths, etc.
What to take internally gets a little more confusing. Here's what I use. It's convenient, not expensive and works well. Most healthfood stores around me also carry it:

It's rare that the infection goes away same day unless it's very surface. All the other remedies you use also kill viruses, bacteria, etc on contact, but for deep infections nothing beats the drawing power of clay. Keep posting your progress!
Hello,
Here is some information about physician strength stabilized allicin.
Over 5 yrs. ago my family was nearly wiped out by a very aggressive attack of MRSA.
Since using stabilized allicin, we have not had it return.
In order to beat MRSA with anything, the treatment will need to be used both internally and externally for a long duration since MRSA is so aggressive.
We tried everything that is powerful and natural to beat MRSA and some of them helped. We didn't get over it until we used stable allicin.
We had to use one round of several antibiotics to save my son's life since the boils he had were completely out of control within a few hours.
Antibiotics sometime are a necessary evil to keep the infection at bay until you can find something to destroy MRSA. Please don't let your guard down. Our guard was down when MRSA hit our lives, since we didn't know about it, it nearly took my son's life within 3 days and then it went after the rest of us. We all got MRSA and we beat it without any medical care.
I suggest that you try to find science that is behind the product that you are considering.
Also, it is very smart to combine effective natural antibiotics. The secret to destroying super bacteria is destroying the bio-film.
Lumbrokinase may be one of the more effective products to destroy bio-film. Allcin is another. I am sure that there are others that are effective.
Avoid junk food, all sugars, and stress. Rest as much as possible.
Let us know how you do.
God bless, BB
