Hi all, I am not a native English speaker and haven't used the forum before, however I need an urgent advice so I am writing here, sorry for term or language mistakes from now.
I had a painful lump on left side of perineum 2 months ago and it was so painful that I couldn't walk, sit or sleep one day and found myself in the emergency in the middle of the night, few doctors examined me and told that I should have the operation same day, or else it would get bigger or more painful. The treatment included incision & drainage , however they couldn't tell me what the main reason was. And now it's the second time that I am having it, but this time on the other parallel side. It has been just 3 days that I had a waxing and the previous time it was about 5 days after I got my waxing. I am assuming that some trauma in the area is causing this to me. Having experienced the same thing, it means I have about 2-3 days left until it gets unbearable. I am a master student and I am very busy these days - have to hand in a major project this week - so I really need an advice that preferably will not include any operation in it..
It may sound very ignorant, however I started using augmentin - which was prescribed to me after the operation; and the doctors also advised
Antibiotics treatment last time however then they decided it was very late to start. So now I am taking them twice a day, but not sure if they will help..
Am I doing wrong? or does anyone have any other advice? I know health is the most important thing, but if I will undergo this whole GP visits and hospital checkings I will not be able to submit anything and fail at the end- which is the worst case scenario that I really don't want it to happen at this time of my life.
I will be waiting for your suggestions,
Many Thanks!
