i know its been a while since you posted, but i also know these things come back. i've had a bartholin cyst 3 times. the 1st time i ended up at the doctor under the knife having it drained. the 2nd time i jumped online and did some research and used the calomine lotion, witch hazel, and tea tree oil. it worked but took a week and a half. got another one this week and the timing was REALLY BAD! of course it was infected and VERY painful. Did more research online and ended up calling my mom's friend who is a naturopathic consultant. she suggested Silver Shield. you can pick it up online or probably at your local vitamin and herb shop. its really amazing stuff and has no side effects. i got the liquid because you can use it internally and externally. took a couple of teaspoons when i got home and 1 teaspoon every hour for the rest of the day. also put some in a little spray bottle and sprayed it directly onto the cyst. 13 hours later it drained! i couldn't believe that it worked that fast. the silver shield is an Antibiotic so it kills whatever bacteria that caused the thing in the first place. i'm back to working on my overdue projects today. still taking a couple of teaspoons throughout the day to make sure it doesn't come back but still in shock that it worked so fast. everyone should research this product. that's what i spent most of my day doing yesterday (since i couldn't do anything else.) going to get more this coming week to have around "just in case" best of luck. these things are no fun.
