Hi all,
I am not on here often, but wanted to let you guys know that I've made some progress. It's been slow coming, however it's definitely happening. I know I have to be careful because setbacks are so very easy with this illness. I have been taking 1200 IU of full spectrum vitamin e with tocotrienols, a few cloves of raw garlic a day, sublingual pantethine, and biotin. The biotin does wonders for my hypoglycemia. I take the vitamin E to offset the fact that I believe I am dealing with an autoimmune disease. The garlic calms me, helps me rest, somewhat boosts my moods, and seems to just give me more energy all around, however it's not a jittery energy. For the last couple of weeks I have been mowing my lawn (it takes all day and sometimes 2 days) but it's something I"m very thankful to be able to do. A week ago I started cooking and doing dishes, this made me break down and cry because I was so incredibly happy. Who cries because you can do your dishes? This week I'm having a little set back but that is my fault for taking on too many things as well as slacking off of my supplements. However, I have learned from past mistakes and have been taking it easy again and am restarting my supplements. I did this before I crashed, so it should make a difference and make for an easier recovery. Hopefully this can help someone.
BTW since I have been sick for 8 years now, I have been craving egg yolks terribly. I think this has something to do with my body needing sulfur, which maybe why the garlic works so beautifully for me.
ciao
