Well few things. You mostly lose water weight for first three or four days and mabye 1/2 pound of fast so 10 day fast maybe 5
pounds fat rest is water weight and will come back as soon as you start taking in salt and carbs. Rough guess some people hold bit more water some less.
10 or days is very short fast. So you shouldn't have much trouble going back to eating but you will eat less normally for week or so. and use this to not overeat. Change your lifestyle,exercise try to eat healthier.
I would try to move thru the fruit to things like salad, soups, its ok to eat some meat as well. Shortly after my fasts of 40 days and 20 days was eating things like grilled chicken in my salads. I think meat is natural for hmans to eat we are natural omnivores and have ate meat almost immediately after my fasts. Not much problem at all.
Also to lose weight you have fast down about extra 10
pounds so to lose 20 you would have to go down extra 30 or so. Example was 222 ish start of last 20 day fast. Went down to 202 but regained up to 212 /214 post fast refeed from salt and carbs. Then with exercise and intermittent fasting been a couple of weeks now at 212 again and it should start going down from here gradually may repeat another fast maybe 20 days but maybe 14 ,20 gets pretty boring and longer than 20 is horrbly boring.
Also its easier to not eat after three or four days fasting your hunger does go away. If you try to do intermittent daily type fasting you are always fighting hunger. I do EAT STOP EAT post fast just started it up took few weeks off it was on trips and stuff but do two 24 fasting periods twice weekly .So ate lunch today and not eating again till tomorrow lunch. Do that again on sunday eat brunch and then nothing till monday lunch.
I also rarely eat breakfast and try to snack on low calorie stuff. I am not vegetarian.
