Morning everyone
Today is day 2 of my prefast prep day, day one was raw food and veg juices only, today is going to be lots of prunes, one high fibre meal and fuit to desire. Wens and Thursday will be 1 litre of coconut water only each day and from April 1st 30 day Water Fast begins!
My aim is 30 days on water followed by 31 juice aternating with Water Fast every other day, followed by 30 on raw alternating with raw food and juices and Water Fast everyother day. Then July 1st my aim is to have a 60% raw diet eating organic where I can and about 200% of my dily cal needs, alternating with waterfasting everyother day (aim to keep that up all my life!)
Brain fog, lathargicness, weight gain and drop in health and self-esteem have fustrated me so much in the past 2 years, used to follow a very healthy lifestyle pre-graduation, fell off track sitting at home unemployed with no money or anything to do! with faith in the almighty lets begin a new life!
I wil post my feelings here daily, should be an exciting journey

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,790,615B...That's a mighty ambitious schedule...a 3-month plan all laid out in advance. Sounds like something I would do...lay out the plan that is. Succeeding is another story.
Speaking of Mighty, I wonder what he'd say about planning so far in advance? I say it just sets one up for failure.....WY

This is a reply to # 1,790,623B....I didn't mean the Almighty. I meant Mighty.Sun.Tzu. You are New here if you don't know Mighty. Mighty and Chiron hold this Forum together...and they do a good job. There was another (ChrisB1), but he left because the posts here got to be so ridiculous....mostly from the Obese and Drug Dependent. This is a reply to # 1,790,658haha @ obese and drug dependent - Thou surly obestiy and addiction to drugs are forms of illness are they not? self induced yes, but many modern illnesses have a self contributory factor. We all know that fasting needs to be fed by fat and if the FATTYS want to fast (properly) to lose weight and start a healthy life afterwards they should be encouraged! Thou I see the fustration when people start talking about fastign with teas, coffee and coke, its hardly Water Fasting and can hinder weightloss

Hey there WY :),
To me there there are many ways we can go and all are valid. In my last fast of 17 days i didn't say anything until it was done, but that's just what i felt compelled to do in that one instance. Other times, announcing my intentions and/or keeping others posted along the way helped provide greater resolve and strength to persevere... and as well it was nice to keep other people involved in my experiences.
