I'd like to speak about mineral balancing, and what I have confidence in.
I like to take a footbath in a solution of Himalayan Crystal Mineral Salts...which are the salts of a piece of ocean which dehydrated, as is, 250,000,000 years ago...long before mankind invented pollution.
It contains, we believe, all the minerals of the planet, in balance, and nothing else.
(Some wag suggested that this is 'Pakistani road salt'. Of course! If you needed road salt, and you had a huge deposit of salts, you'd use what you have, wouldn't you?)
I make the sole (pronounced so-lay) which is a 26% solution (saturation - the water won't absorb any more and the rest of the crystals remain whole on the bottom of the jug)...then I add 26 cups of clean warm water to one cup of the sole in my footbath tub...and soak my feet for 20 - 30 minutes.
I believe this balances all my body minerals, both in and out, through the skin on my feet.
I have also done the full body bath, at a 1% solution, several times. It just feels pleasant. But it is a bit pricey to use the whole body bath every time...and I am nothing if not frugal.
:D
I feel this footbath eliminates the mineral balance question, whatever the cause.
I found my Himalayan Crystal Mineral Salts at my local health food store. They come through the distributor - Heartfelt Living -
http://www.heartfeltliving.com
- the owner is a very nice lady who takes a tsp, of sole in a glass of water each morning.
Recently, I have been working on the protien/carbohydrate question, and I have tended to consider the benefits of hard beans (black, navy, etc.), and seed grains (quinoa, amaranth) against wheat, barley, rye and what have you. I will test all I have for sprouting.
I will also test for the amounts of the above which will give me weight loss, or balancing...since that will be an improvement.
:D
I wouldn't be surprised if some kinds of chelation help balance weight appropriately.

Lots of luck on your journey; and thanks for getting me going this morning.
Fledgling
P.S. I would guess that any burning, etc. would simply be an indication that your 'cleansing' isn't yet finished. Which is not to say that you shouldn't try to alleviate the effects, somehow or another.
