Start off by juice fasting for awhile. Then maybe switch to water. After couple days two or three your appetite goes away and it gets easy. First couple days are hardest.
If you can't make it thru few days without food you maybe lack the willpower to do a longer fast.
Wife went 28 days on her very first fast on juice.
I went 40 on water for 31 then juice for three,water for two and juice for 4. After first couple days it was pretty easy. But got really boring past 30 days or so.
Best to stay away from people eating for first couple of days. Don't watch tv with food commercials and keep busy. You could maybe drink diet drinks, have coffee or tea best with no calorie sweetners. Watch movies, play on computer,whatever just try to make it thru the first couple of days. Then all physical hunger leaves and it gets way easier to do long periods of time.
