"i was studying borax today. man is there ever horror stories about that out there."
Yes there are horror stories; but how medical "science" do it is actually very simple;
they give toxic dosages where they want a bad result and to low dosages where they want no effect. Then the result are published as a truth. Boy are we fooled, have a look at the scientific study on Borax;
"In a separate study, four male and four female beagle dogs were exposed to concentrations of boron, as borax or boric acid, of 0, 58, 117 and 350 ppm for two years, or 1170 ppm for 38 weeks. No differences in appearance, behaviour, appetite, elimination, body weight, food consumption, organ weights or haematological and biochemical parameters between the control animals and dogs exposed to either borax or boric acid at 350 ppm boron or less were observed. The only adverse effects noted were testicular changes (spermatogenic arrest and atrophy of the seminiferous epithelium of the tubules) in males exposed to the highest dose of either compound (1170 ppm). The no-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) was considered to be 350 ppm boron,46 equivalent to a boron concentration of 8.75 mg/kg bw per day.;
Holy something; 8,75 mg boron PER KILO and NO OBSERVED ADVERSE EFFECT OVER 2 YEARS, and we are afraid of taking 1/8 of a level teaspoon of borax which would be around 25 mg of boron.
divided on my 60 kilos = 0,4 mg per kilo.

Some history; borax got the reputation years ago as a natural v!agra; medical
Science then produced the survey on rats given a 9000 ppm of boric acid, equivalent to 1070 ppm of boron, daily. The male rats developed testicular atrophy. This is three times the NOAEL level and of course totally insane. The survey was published as a truth in medicine and of course no men would touch borax after that; and voila; v!agra slid right in as the "safe drug"
A different study on male bodybuilders given the ridicoulous low dosage of 2,5 mg; and of course they found out it had no effect on performance or testosterone levels.

A better survey IMO is the miners that work in the Borax mines around the world; They have found to ingest around 30 mg of boron daily through the borax dust. If borax was as toxic as some want it to look like, why havent the miners serious health issues. Truth is probably they live well with it, their wifes do not complain about low libido, they probably have less cancers, less artrhites etc, but who cares to find out, the medical mafia? nah.
"Studies on Boron Toxicity & Human Health
Risk assessments of boron indicate no significant risk of toxicity to humans at currently estimated dietary or drinking water levels of exposure, based in part upon the results of the present study (ECETOC, 1995).
Boric acid and sodium borates have low acute toxicity. They are not skin irritants, nor skin sensitisers. Some borates cause eye irritancy in animals, but in 50 years of occupational exposure no adverse ocular effects have been seen in humans. Borates are absorbed orally and by inhalation. They are very poorly absorbed dermally except through severely damaged skin. They are not carcinogenic or mutagenic (HERA, 2005).
The people of Hisarcik eat locally grown food and use the ground water for drinking or food preparation. For that reason, they can be exposed to chronic boron intake through both food and water, and therefore this region is very suitable for epidemiological researches abour boron exposure. This characteristic is verified with the high boron levels in the water and high total urinary boron excretion. The first results of study show there are no remarkable findings of toxicity (Çöl & Çöl, 2003)."
Borax and
Iodine was the supplements I wast most afraid of taking. They also happens to be the two most effective.
Is it a coincidence, the exaggerations about their toxicity from the med.science? I dont think so.
Boron is an up and coming medicine; It is promising in some cancers, it has probably a v!agra effect, it helps osteoporosis, ADHD, arthritis, candida, well the list is looong; there are BIG money interests in making medications for these conditions.
No wonder they dont want us to ingest it.
