Hi Phelp ~~
This is in response to your PMs to me:
'ICU- i have been suffering since 07 with complete body itching. I have seen many-many doctors. I got better when I was on some anti parasit meds. But as soon as I got off things slowly went back to normal. I think I have a systemic demodex infection and maybe scabies. I had a compromised immune system do to some pesticide exposure back in 06- Here is my question. Are you a Doctor? If not do you know one that actually treast things like demodex?
I really cant live like this much longer-I will go anywhere and do anything to not have dry skin-itch and feel like things are crawling on me
thanks for your help
PS I alos just ordered albendzole and ivermectin-may start that protocal next week"
"Sorry but you seem to have the most knowledge. If a person had a systemic demodex infection-would a sign be incrediable dry skin. Demodex eats sebum-I assume that would cause dry skin?"
Are dry itchy skin, mite-like critters, & scabies your only symptoms? Where on your body do you have these symptoms?
Chronic dry itchy skin is often a symptom of allergies caused by food, some vitamin supplements, herbal remedies, plants, pets, mold, exposure to chemicals or pesticides, some classes of meds, dyes in clothing, & other allergens in your environment (too many to list here).
For itch relief, take Benadryl Allergy capsules noted in the Albendazole & Ivermectin Protocol: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1586882#i.
Topical treatment remedies for parasites in skin, scalp, & soft tissue are listed in a forum post, which I updated on 1-10-11: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1750708#i.
For your itchy skin, try the diaper rash cream (with 40% zinc oxide), Icy Hot Balm (jar or rollup), anti-itch cream, Sulfur 8 ointment, DeLaCruz 10% Sulfur ointment, sulfur bath soap, & dandruff shampoo (with zinc pyrithione).
Also, add lavendar baby oil or herbal oils to liquid soap for bathing & showering. As noted in the above list, you can find these OTC products at drugstores, Wal-Mart, & E-bay.
Have you passed any unusual critters in your stools or felt worms move in various areas of your body, skin, soft tissues, or muscles?
If you feel movement of worms within your body, muscles, extremities, or soft tissue or tiny worm larva exiting your head, face, nose, ears, or skin, you might be infected with roundworms that have migrated from the GI tract throughout the body.
For other symptoms of scattered roundworms, see the Albendazole Protocol ~ Roundworms (Nematodes) & Systemic Eggs/Larva/Cysts: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1566532#i.
You mention that you've ordered the drugs for the Albendazole & Ivermectin Protocol ~ Filariasis, Strongyloides, & Morgellons: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1586882#i. These drugs also provide good results for hyperinfection cases of systemic roundworms & ectoparasitic skin infections caused by them.
Take the Ivermectin for 2 days on, 2 days off, throughout treatment, even on off-days of Albendazole.
If the risk of possible hair loss is a concern for you, change your dosage schedule for the Albendazole to 7 days on, 7 days off instead of 14 days on, 7 days off.
As to your last question, Demodex mites only infect the hair follicles of the eyelashes & eyebrows. They don't spread systemically throughout the body or cause itchy skin except around the eyes.
If you have them in your eyes, suggest you try allergy eye drops, available at drugstores. Rubbing Vicks or Mentholatum around the eyes also gives relief from these pesky critters. Skin parasites detest anything containing menthol, zinc, & sulfur.
Post any other questions you have at the Parasite Drugs Forum: http://curezone.com/forums/f2.asp?f=943.
Forum members (including me) will gladly offer their tips & advice based on their experience.
Keep us posted on your progress after you start the Albendazole & Ivermectin Protocol ~~ Feedback helps everyone in their parasite battles!
Good luck!
Cheers ~~ ICU

Hi Phelp ~~
Don't worry too much about ultra cleanliness in your environment.
Your infection is from an internal parasite. Anything you shed from your skin is dead stuff.
Wear clean clothes, bathe with sulfur or antibacterial soap, wash hair with dandruff shampoo (with zinc pyrithione), & use fresh towels & washrags daily. Change sheets every 3-4 days.
Wash laundry in hot water with any good laundry detergent & add Oxy-Power or Borax. Add bleach to whites. Use high setting on dryer.
Vacuum, mop, & dust weekly. Clean bathroom countertop, sink, floors, toilet, tub, & shower every 3-4 days with heavy-duty cleaners.
Most of all: Chin up, warrior! Just look forward to the day you celebrate winning your hard-fought-battles!
Cheers ~~ ICU
