I need advice about my pinworm infection that seems to never, ever, ever go away. I have had it for a long time now and I've taken vermox mainly, 100 mg, the largest dose being vermox 100 mg twice daily for three days, and then same dosage two weeks later. No success, though the itching did subside some. I was wondering if anyone thought it might be possible that the 100 mg dose is not high enough. Vermox comes in 500 mg doses (which I haven't been able to find by the way--any clue where I can get it?). Does anyone know if it would hurt or be beneficial for me to give vermox 500 mg twice a day a try for three days and then repeat in two weeks--or does that sound like WAY too much??? I don't want to kill myself or end up about dead over this.
Also, I just read a post on here from someone who said it seems like no one on curezone ever gets rid of their
parasite infection. I definitely agree with that as far as pinworms are concerned! I know exactly what I have and I don't believe any other infection is interferring with meds killing off the pinworms. I think that's a theory and I appreciate it and all, but it's not factual for everyone. No one truly, truly seems to know with 100% certainty why some people cannot rid themselves of pinworms...and no one in the medical community is trying to find out either. That's the problem. Anyway, not trying to be negative, but this pinworm infection is difficult to treat. I keep trying, though, because I don't want to have them for the rest of my life. What scares me, though, is that that possibility seems beyond my control!
