Wonderful!
We're in your corner, for whatever you need--encouragement, support, information, or just insights from our own experience.
3rdday, for example, is a good one for encouragement. I think she's about your age.
Don't worry if others come in with cranky posts--there are several here to make up for it. Ha!
Days one and two might not be a big deal to the veteran fasters, but to you, somewhat new to this, getting through them might be a genuine struggle!
For me, getting through the first three days was the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm a recovering alcoholic, sober for 2 and 3/4 years, and I have to say, refraining from eating was FAR harder than pushing away that drink.
But, once you get to day four, man oh man! The benefits abound, and the hunger...is gone! (For many, the hunger is gone on day two or three!)
So...do whatever you have to do to stick with it. Be gentle with yourself, too. If you don't make it, big deal. Forgive yourself. Regroup and decide how to proceed.
I can't wait to read your progress!
Take care,
