I have an "Eco Sauna," near infrared sauna from Long Life Saunas. Yes, it heats up quite nicely to about 125, and is a little hotter still where you sit. I sweat like crazy when I use it.
It's a lamp sauna and uses the bulbs. I invite anyone who thinks the bulbs don't heat up to try my unit. That will change their minds in a hurry!
Dr Wilson's sauna is nice and works well. But the eco sauna is more powerful, 1000 watts vs 750, an is both nicer looking and more rugged. Dr. Wilsons has a pvc frame which I don't like. Can't imagine it not off-gassing some during use.
I had to assemble the sauna myself, not the heater but the frame. It took a few hours but was pretty easy overall. One thing I like is that it only weighs 75
pounds and I can move it around. I highly recommend this sauna. It rocks!
