Hello, my daughter is 3 yrs old and has had chronic gut infection all her life, and recently we've realized brain infection as well. She has an unusual head shape with
Depression along the midline and swelling on the outer back areas of the head (where two high ponytails would be). She has uneven eyes, one more sunken than the other, which gets better from
parasite treatment and also yeast treatment.
She is atypically autistic and we are seeing an autism (DAN) doctor who is very familiar with chronic illness and alternative medicine, but she is not well versed in parasites. Western medicine Infectious Disease specialist gave us no help. I've been researching and trying to treat on my own. We are also seeing a homeopath but he doesn't know anything about parasites.
She does have worm
parasites that respond to herbal
parasite treatment but there is another
parasite that flares up after giving her the herbals. It responds to clove oil and coconut oil. If I give these she is constipated. If I don't, she has large mushy greenish stools with visible small wormy looking things and ova. One of the ovas is about 1 mm long and reddish brown. She had positive stool test for Strongyloides and unknown parasite. I had positive stool test for pinworm and unknown parasite. I am also sure she has
Tapeworm but after doing homeopathic
Tapeworm treatment (with Filix Mas, and it works better than anything else I tried for 2 years!!!!) after doing this had flareup of another parasite that does not respond to herbals.
It was thought we had Lyme at one point but our symptoms don't match. In looking into it, I did have a lot of symptoms of Bartonella though. I have ice pick headaches in the same spots on my head where my daughter has inflammation/swelling. Also we did an SCIO biofeedback session that indicated she had a protozoan amoeba parasite.
In the past we used Rxs. She responded well to Ivermection/Albendazole combo, Albendazole by itself, Mebendazole, and Alinia, but not to Ivermectin alone. She has multiple
parasites so they could have been affecting different pathogens.
She also has chronic problems with deficiency of B12, Riboflavin, magnesium, and zinc. Lots of adrenal issues. I am trying to address her copper/zinc imbalance as well as stay on top of deficiencies.
Thank you in advance for any ideas, suggestions, or Dr. recommendations.
