Here's a thought......You say "The Epsom Salts made her feel bad right after she drank it"....How is she going to feel if she has to have surgery? There will be a whole lot of other stuff she will go through that will be a whole lot worse than a few minutes of feeling badly right after drinking the Epsom Salts . Tell her to try drinking it with a straw. A few minutes of discomfort is worth it the next day when you see the "surgery" she performed on her own body.

There are also other flushes she might look into....

You could try malic acid. It won't dilate, but it will relieve the pressure. You can try this alternate flush without the ES

# Eat only whole foods (un-refined foods) without fat for a whole
day.

# About an hour before bedtime (on an empty stomach), drink ¼-cup
of extra virgin cold pressed olive oil mixed with ¼-cup of
freshly squeezed lemon juice. Repeat this process every 15 minutes
until a total of 1 cup each of olive oil and lemon juice is finished.
An alternative to this procedure is to replace lemon juice with
freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice. ½ cup of grapefruit juice
can be used each time. A total of 1½ to 2 cups of grapefruit
juice is required. It works well and tastes better than lemon juice.

# Go to bed immediately and lie on your right side.

# The next morning take 1 litre (approximately 4 cups) of warm distilled
or filtered water containing two level teaspoons of un-iodized Sea Salt .
Alternatively the addition of juice from half a lemon may be used
in place of the Sea Salt .

# Eat only softly cooked vegetables and broth the second

Malic acid, gold coin grass / chanca piedra and Gentian root / Chinese Bitters supplementation should get the stones soft and crushed enough, but a bit of ES is still good. Could she manage just ONE or 1.5 tbs of ES before the flush, and then Oxypowder or an enema in the morning to clear the intestinal tract? The ES aren't essential but even just 1 tbs should be enough to dilate.

Also NB that Oxypowder still contains lots of magnesium but it's magnesium oxide - I don't fully understand how O-p and ES differ in the effects of the high magnesium dose o.O

Epsom Salts detoxify the body very rapidly. It is important not to detox more quickly than your body can handle. I would suggest a more gentle detox first with mostly raw vegetable diet with plenty of greens, then consider colon cleanse, kidney cleanse, then gold coin grass to break up any stones before thinking about liver cleanse.
I have read somewhere about a person who had rapid heatbeat after taking Epsom Salts and relieved it by drinking a teaspoon of Bentonite clay in water- they felt that the fast heatbeat was caused by too many toxins than the body can handle and the Bentonite clay helped to soak it up and remove the toxins.
Also I wouldn't take Epsom Salts if you are dehydrated or low in potassium and trace minerals- I always crave Sea Salt s after taking epsom salt.

I am interested to know how much epsom salts your wife took, and if had a cleansing diet first, Bowel Cleanse or enema first and what is her general state of health?

I have tried Liver Flush with only one teaspoon of epsom salt, another one teaspoon 2 hours later, and slightly less olive oil and grapefruit juice and it worked very well. The first flush generally makes you feel very ill (the next ones are usually not so bad) so I would definately recommended to cut back on the doses of Epsom Salt and oil for the first one, and of course you can always follow a protocol that has no epsom salts. Generally you should lesson the dose of epsom salts if you are not in good health, are very toxic and/or a smaller build. If you do have Gallstones it might be very wise to use the gold coin grass first or instead of liver flush.

The epsom salts are thought to open the bile ducts but also to detoxify the liver and also to keep the toxins moving out so without epsom salts bowel cleansing such as enemas would be vital. The first time I took epsom salts it made me feel rather ill, but now it makes me feel better.

Also make sure if you do take the epsom salts that it is from the health food store and marked for internal consumption. Some cheaper brands from the chemist may contain nasties like Arsenic and although the pharamist will say you can drink them- don't! they are really only meant for soaking in- although I would not even soak in them myself.

From my experience I would say the liver cleanse produces fast and great results, but be very careful about taking large does of epsom salts and I don't think it is necessary to take so much, start with a teaspoon and see how you feel. Good luck and you are welcome to email me if I can assist.
