I've had an enlarged thyroid with bilateral nodules for several years, probably way before I had it diagnosed. I have finally gotten it to where I can eat without gagging, but it still is swollen and prevents me from swallowing some things. I have taken kelp with good results, about 1000 mcg a day, but I want to do the complete
Iodine therapy and see what happens.
I'm not hypothyroid, but low side of normal, and have been diagnosed with lupus, so the
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome goes with that. I find that when I take the
Iodine regularly, with selenium, I feel better, but I don't know how to do all this properly, so I'm sure I'd get better results if I did.
Can someone direct me to a site that has the complete protocol laid out as to how much to take, etc.? I was reading things here I had never read before about Bromines and salt.
I'm determined to kick this lupus. I've started doing
parasite cleansing, and have had really good results, so I think if I can just get my thyroid under control, I'd be much healthier. My Dr. is from the middle east, and he is very o.k. with alternative therapies, in fact, it was him who turned me onto turmeric for joint pain, because I was getting elevated liver numbers with all the nsaids I was taking.
