Ok, I dont know why anyone would take acv with anything other than honey or another calming agent.
Ok, I don't know why anyone would recommend against taking acv with things other than honey, when people have been mixing acv with herbs and other substances for centuries. Cayenne mixed with acv is a very common folk remedy for sore-throat (amongst other things) and herbalists have been tincturing herbs in acv for centuries. Asians commonly make various salads dressings with cayenne, garlic, ginger/galangal and rice vinegar. (I make a fantastic Thai salad out of Thai chili's, rice vinegar, cucumbers & cilantro and usually 'drink' the dressing after each bowl...yum!)
Apparently you're not familiar with the works of Dr. Christopher or Dr. Schulze (upon whose teachings this forum is primarily based), nor are you familiar with what we call an "ACV Bomb" and how it's made or why it's used. The acv IS mixed with raw natural honey or blackstrap molasses, enough water is added to make it palatable for whomever is taking it, and some cayenne and minced raw garlic is added (depending upon whatever dose of each is being taken).
ACV has the power to eliminate nearly anything that you put into your body. That's why you are not to take medication for at least an hour and a half before or after ACV. if you dont, you might has well thrown that medication in the garbage, it did no good to you. That's almost totally untrue. I can guarantee you that if you take a poison along with ACV, you will be poisoned - and if you take it along with most any pharmaceutical, you will get the full effect (or a substantial effect).
From the Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database (approximately $125 yearly to subscribe...so none of the links below will 'work' unless you're subscribed and signed in). This Database is extremely slanted against herbs & natural substances; if there's ANY possibility of any type of adverse reaction or interaction is will be here. Here's the ACV Monolog (it shows no 'drug reducing' action):

Orally, apple cider vinegar is used alone or with honey for weight loss, leg cramps and pain, upset stomach, sore throats, sinus problems, high blood pressure, arthritis, to help rid the body of toxins, stimulate thinking, slow the aging process, regulate blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, fight infection, and osteoporosis. Topically, apple cider vinegar is used for acne, as a skin toner, as an ingredient in hair rinse, to soothe sunburn, for shingles, insect bites, and to prevent dandruff. It is also used in the bath for vaginitis. In foods, apple cider vinegar is used as a flavoring agent. |

Cider vinegar is fermented juice from crushed apples. Like apple juice, it probably contains some pectin; vitamins B1, B2, and B6; biotin; folic acid; niacin; pantothenic acid; and vitamin C. It also contains small amounts of the minerals sodium, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium (5912). Apple cider vinegar can also contain significant quantities of acetic acid and citric acid; however, the amount of each of these acids varies dramatically between samples of commercially available apple cider vinegar tablets. Some analyses have also found malic and lactic acid in apple cider vinegar products (13183). |

Orally, there has been one report of an individual who developed hypokalemia, high renin levels, and osteoporosis after ingesting 250 mL apple cider vinegar daily for 6 years (5911). In another report, a female patient had a apple cider vinegar tablet lodged in her throat for 30 minutes. She developed tenderness and pain in her larynx and difficulty swallowing for 6 months following the incident. This was thought to be due to the acid content of the tablet (13183). | ||||||||||||

CARDIAC GLYCOSIDE-CONTAINING HERBS: Theoretically, overuse of apple cider vinegar can increase the risk of cardiac glycoside toxicity due to potassium depletion. Watch for possible interactions with herbs that contain cardiac glycosides such as black hellebore, Canadian hemp roots, digitalis leaf, hedge mustard, figwort, lily of the valley roots, motherwort, oleander leaf, pheasant's eye plant, pleurisy root, squill bulb leaf scales, and strophanthus seeds (19). HORSETAIL: Theoretically, concomitant use of apple cider vinegar with horsetail increases the risk of potassium depletion. LICORICE: Theoretically, concomitant use of apple cider vinegar with licorice rhizome increases the risk of potassium depletion. STIMULANT LAXATIVE HERBS: Theoretically, overuse of apple cider vinegar and stimulant laxative herbs can increase the risk of potassium depletion. Stimulant laxative herbs include aloe, alder buckthorn, black root, blue flag, butternut bark, colocynth, European buckthorn, fo ti, gamboge, gossypol, greater bindweed, jalap, manna, Mexican scammony root, rhubarb, senna, yellow dock. |

Laboratory analysis of commercially available apple cider vinegar tablets shows wide variation in contents and acidity. Amounts of acetic acid ranged from about 1% to 10.57%. Amounts of citric acid ranged from 0% to about 18.5%. Amounts of constituents listed on the product labels were not consistent with the laboratory findings. In the U.S., there is no regulatory standard for identifying vinegar products. Therefore, it is impossible to determine from these analyses whether these commercial products actually contain any apple cider vinegar (13183). |
Cayenne speeds along and increases the productivity of any herb it is used with. Cayenne does "speed along" whatever is taken with it, but it does not technically increase the "productivity" of the herb it is used with. If that were the case, we'd see zillions of warnings about not mixing herbs with cayenne for fear of "overdosing".
But i truly doubt that it will do anything for acv other than cause an increase in the oils of the cayenne in your stomach. The natural oils in cayenne powder are not going to be increased by acv. ACV doesn't contain any type of 'magical natural oil multiplier' - that's ridiculous. It's especially ridiculous when you said above that acv will diminish or eliminate what it's taken with. So according to what you said, taking acv with cayenne woud LESSEN or totally eliminate the oils in the cayenne (and the cayenne itself and the garlic, too).
That will turn something naturally good into something extremely caustic.
Well, since Dr. Christopher suggested everyone have acv mixed with cayenne before every meal and tens of thousands of people have done it since he was in practice, it's pretty obvious you're incorrect. More from Dr. Christopher below my sign off.
I'm nearly positive that the garlic tincture has no effect when using it along with acv, your killing its chances of any good on your body. Hmmm, yet Dr. Christopher MADE his garlic tincture using ACV. Dr. Schulzes Super Tonic (a fantastic blend of raw garlic, cayenne/habanero, horseradish, onion and ginger in a base of ACV is extremely safe and extremely effective). ACV does NOT negate the benefits of raw garlic.
The best way to take cayenne is to actually have it be tasted. Yes, it's best to 'taste' every herb we ingest. put the cayenne tincture into broth and drink it. cayenne's natural healing starts in your mouth! that hot sensation that flushes you and makes your body feel warm is the nerve endings in your tongue stimulating your whole body, causing waves of new blood to be sent to whereever your body is sick. Cayenne certainly increases circulation but it does NOT create or cause "new blood".
That doesnt occur when you take it in capsules - actually, one does get the beneficial effects of cayenne no matter how it enters the bloodstream, and it will eventually enter the bloodstream if taken in capsule form if the capsules break open in time for the contents to be assimilated (it just won't get into the bloodstream as quickly, and as much won't be assimilated). I highly recommend against taking cayenne (or any herb) in capsules. If you do an internet search you will find thousands of reports of people curing themselves using encapsulated cayenne. Sure, it would have worked better/faster if they would have tasted it, but it DOES work in capsules.
or like shot down your throat. The hotter the better! If you think you don't taste the cayenne and get the 'mouth benefits' doing an ACV Bomb, you've certainly never done one. Of course, the hotter the better - I recommend a minimum of 100,000 HU, but up to the 200-300K range is even more effective.
My advice is take 2 tablespoons of acv in hot water with natural honey (to taste). After two hours, take your cayenne and garlic with a chicken boillion cube in hot water. Heat is accepted into your body faster. And the bollion cube has added potassium and salt that will cause your body to absorb the cayenne and garlic, like a sports drink. OMG!!! There isn't a boullion cube on the planet that isn't laden with MSG!!! (the "natural" ones, too..I've been trying a cube or broth powder that doesn't have MSG for years). To suggest taking MSG (along with all the other chemicals and isolated substances in a typical boullion cube) IS harmful to the body...the last thing anyone needs is MSG being "driven" by the cayenne!
And I have to add, no one should take cayenne with garlic unless they never take asprin or any other blood thinners and definitely not if you have hemophilia. You're asking for health problems or death that way. So I guess all the Mexicans, Hispanics & Asians that normally consume high amounts of garlic & "cayenne" daily and take an aspirin for their occasional headache have health problems and die because of it? Of course not.
Where do I get all this info from? I've been an herbal healer for years. Nature has a cure to every injury and ailment, its just a matter of knowing the right one and using it correctly. You may know/call yourself as a 'herbal healer' ; Dr. Schulze (blunt & out-spoken as he is) would call you a woosy, fear-monger whose lack of knowledge harms people and prevents them from achieving the healing they need & deserve. I don't have any reason to "call you" anything because it would appear (from your posting history) that you're young (24) and may not ever have encountered the works of Dr. Schulze or Christopher before...and I certainly believe your intentions are good. But I do want to let you know very clearly what you may not already know (since it appears you're a CZ newbie):
This is a private support forum that is primarily based on the time-honored healing truths of Dr. Christopher, Schulze and Gerson (without Gersons unnatural supplements). We subscribe only to the use of truly natural substances in their wholesome forms (the most "unnatural" things we ingest would be juice, herbal teas & tinctures). Their protocols have successfully healed tens of thousands of people from the most advanced of 'incurable diseases'...consistently, effectively and safely. You are welcome to support others that post here and support the methodology of these great healers, and you are welcome to ask sincere questions (if you're ever interested in learning more). I realize all that isn't clear from the "title" of the forum :(
Basically, no one on CZ should go into a CZ support forum (private or public) to criticize or debate -- that's why CZ has debate forums...support for support; debate for debate.
That all being said, because this is private support forum, I moderate it more "tightly" than the public forums are moderated (for many reasons, but mainly because I want this to be a place where people can come, learn & heal themselves in a positive environment, without the misinformation & fear-mongering that has been ensconced in the world of alternative/herbal healing by the Powers That Be over the last 50 years). So if you choose to respond, please keep CZ's Posting Guidelines & TOS in mind...as I (or my moderators) don't want to be put in the position of needing to edit, hide or delete anyone's posts (and I simply do not have time to enter into debate or discussion about the use of acv, garlic & cayenne).
'Hope you find & realize all the healing knowledge you are currently needing & seeking on your 'herbal pathways', and if ever you want to learn more about Dr. Schulze & Dr. Christopher's methodologies you're always welcome here.
Healthiest of blessings,
Unyquity
From Dr. Christopher:
MENUS FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS
We will now give a sample diet program which you can use as a guide. As no two people are alike, it is impossible for everybody to follow the same diet. As another old saying goes, "What's one man's meat is another man's poison." A person with a "touchy" stomach, who is bothered with indigestion and stomach discomfort, should use far more vegetables, and more steamed or baked vegetables and fruit, than raw; whereas the person with a compatible stomach condition can use more fruits and less vegetables.
After finishing detoxication of the body on a three-day fast, your first two weeks dietary program will be as follows: Make a practice of retiring to bed before 11 and arising each day before 7, as this cycle gives better rest for most people than any other. And, after rising in the morning, follow through doing the customary program of the day with the exception of breakfast. You do not break your fast until noon, when you proceed with lunch as given below.
LUNCH
Cayenne and apple cider vinegar.
Prune or fig juice:
Follow this in about 10 minutes with a small glass of prune or fig juice. About 15 minutes thereafter comes your first meal of the day. If you do not need the prune or fig juice as a bowel regulator, leave out the juice and have your meal about 15 minutes after the cayenne and vinegar drink.
Combination salad:
Make up either a cabbage coleslaw or grated carrots, adding 2 or 3 tablespoonfuls of a stewed or canned vegetable (such as string beans, red beets, peas or spinach, any type that is acid-binding). Add to this one of the following for flavoring and as a touch of variety: green onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, chives, celery, or any other green-leaf vegetables.
Dressing:
For a dressing, use pure fresh olive oil, flavoring it with a touch of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, black pepper (a very good herb unless cooked), plus a little sweet basil, thyme, or any of your favorite salad herbs as described. If you like garlic, you may squeeze or grate a few garlic finely to taste. As no two people are alike, the tastes will vary, so you may use more or less of this or that, or leave any or all out and use the salad just plain and tossed.
MENUS FOR THE SECOND TWO WEEKS
LUNCH
Cayenne and apple cider vinegar:
Have your cayenne and apple cider vinegar just before your lunch (and dinner) as before, except you should be up to a full teaspoonful of cayenne by now. The cayenne and vinegar do not have to be taken together, so if preferred, drink the cayenne before the meal in water and the vinegar between meals. Never drink during a meal; always wait at least 1/2 hour after the meal is finished to drink.

Liniment for lung congestion, sprains, etc.:
1 Tbsp Cayenne powder (Capsicum minimum; C. fastigiatum)
1 pint Apple cider vinegar
('tis obviously not caustic to mix acv & cayenne or it would burn away the skin - our skin is MUCH more sensitive that our stomach & intestinal tract, as stomach acid is so acidic it would melt/burn the skin)
Sore throat:
1 tsp Cayenne powder (Capsicum minimum; C. fastigiatum)
1/2 pint Red (Garden) Sage tea (Salvia officinalis)
2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp Sea salt
2 Tbsp Honey
Preparation:
Steep the cayenne with the sage tea; then mix the remaining ingredients.
Dosage:
Mouthful, gargle 4-12 times daily. Take a tablespoonful or two orally after the gargle has been spit out. Take it orally as often as needed, but at least after gargling.
Congenial combinations:
Cayenne can be used with almost any other herb. It can be used by itself, as it would be in healing stomach ulcers; it can be used alone to stop hemorrhaging; it can be used alone as a daily food. And if you are brave, you can use it as an enema for obstinate constipation. Cayenne is used with bayberry or pleurisy root to increase perspiration, and with tonics to reduce perspiration. It will take uterine agents such as holy thistle directly to the uterus; but ginger will carry all the herbs to the reproductive organs and abdominal area even faster than cayenne.
***
Horseradish Combination:
Blend fresh chopped up horseradish root into apple cider vinegar to a pulp (thick) and chew thoroughly 1/3 teaspoon and swallow pulp three times in a day. Each three days increase this amount used l/3 teaspoon up to one teaspoon three T.I.D. This is an aid for sinus--stopped up head and nose, etc.
