it's not about "adverse effects", though--it's about letting subtle work have some time/space to do its best.
makes complete sense to me, from this perspective: if you think of UT as a sort of micro-immunization: that the body then can read its entire current-state 'blueprint', and from this, determine where to send healing, and in what form, it just seems logical that you would not be piling stuff on top of that reading, which is essentially what would happen with feeding the body, while it is busy responding to the "messages in water", if you will. :-)
I think of UT the way I think of homeopathics -- (ideally, and at least for beginners) you don't want to eat or brush teeth etc. within 20 minutes of homeopathics.
30 minutes just sounds a little more thoughtful,is all.
(but honestly, what the body can make of ten minutes, we haven't likely a clue)
Gives a person a few more minutes to slow down and rest, n'est ce pas?
mind you, I've only taken Ut in a homeopathic fashion, or as one drop under the tongue. It seems sad though -and ironic- that we are all in such a hurry to do everything.
(except die)
