Hello All:
I have been posting here about the kidney cyst I have had for a long time. I had been feeling very sluggish and was hurting under my stomach due to the cyst on my left kidney for last month or so. So I fasted for three days 10 days ago and after that did fruit only diet for 5 days. I felt 100% change in how I felt. The pressure from the cyst disappeared as well as the left knee problems etc. went away.
BUT, today my doc did scheduled sonogram of the my kidneys. The cyst on my left kidney has grown from 3" to 4" round, which bothers me mentally a lot. It does not bother me physically at all. I am planning to do raw vegetable only diet for next week.
I would like to know if I could do anything besides fast. I know fast reduced my cyst before. I cannot do another fast for while due to work and travelling, I travel a lot. I have tried eating just cooked foods, castor oil poltices regularly, I have had been on Lugol's for a month taking fifty drops a day and nothing helped.
So what to do now?

This is a reply to # 1,686,453Many of us usually go about our regular business while fasting. Yes, it may not be easy, but what are your options? Fasting is the most effective option you have. Three day fasts aren't going to cut it and they are probably giving you a bad impression of fasting. You need to get further into the fast for things to smooth out. Three days and your just barely getting into full Ketosis.

I agree with Golthing.
For fasting to have any real and lasting benefit, the fast will have to be much much longer than you have in the past.
The autolytic disintegration of growths and effusions takes time; Nature works very slowly.
To be blunt: if this were a life-threatening problem, then you would probably have to MAKE the time.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,686,550I know that curezone is all about alternative therapies, but if it were me I would get it removed surgically. Are there any dangers in doing this, besides the obvious dangers of surgery? Is there anything specifically hazardous about operating on the kidneys as opposed to other organs for example? Most people on curezone are against drugs and surgery but isn't there the possibility that Science of the scalpel just might be beneficial in this circumstance?

This is a reply to # 1,686,640Surgical removal is certainly an option Loosie2, but would ultimately fail to address the underlying cause and the possibility of further cysts and growths: unless the cause can be eradicated.
Natural Hygiene teaches that these growths can be removed via Autolysis, but in the case of a 4" cyst that is a mammoth task, probably requiring two or more protracted fasts interspersed with careful refeeding.
If I was in your shoes Archus I would opt for at least a 30 day water-only-fast accompanied by the max' amount of rest: physical, mental, and emotional. Re-feed for 30 days and repeat.
If this is not practical, then surgical removal would suffice as long as lifestyle issues and the underlying cause of toxemia are dealt with via diet by eating a plant-based diet only, and only according to appetite.

This is a reply to # 1,686,640I'm sure the doctor would have recommended surgery if they felt it was needed. Cysts do not pose a threat to health typically, besides the discomfort factor. My mom had one on her kidney so I am familiar with the issue.

This is a reply to # 1,686,453Remember my post where i stated that 10 day's is not enough for my psoriasis. Well my Psoriasis was very bad. I mean like bleeding at nights. Now the bleeding has stopped, but most of my body is still covered with patches. But i feel so much better. Just like you. You feel much better but the problems still exist. This means we both need to extend our fast. Right now i am gaining weight to do a full 40 day fast. You might not need 40 day's. But 3 day's just isn't enough, unfortunately.

Hello All:
Thank you all so much for posting your advice. First of all, I do feel great after three day fast with five days of fruit diet. I know deep in my heart that I must do 30 day fast, right now timing is not good. Having it surgically removed was over ruled by my doctor, because he feels that if it does not discomfort me then leave it alone. Also he said that there is no guarantee that it will not return after removal.I know that cyst goes up and down depending on what I eat. If I eat processed foods or over eat, I feel light pressure on the left side. I have been a vegetarian all my life so I have easy time eating plant based foods. I also need to work on my emotions, I get emotional very easily.
I will definitely do a 30 day fast, I know my 22 day fast reduced a year ago nearly removed the cyst. I shall keep you posted of the progress I make.
BTW, sorry about posting my message twice, it just did not show on the forum first time. So I did again and bot posts showed up.

This is bad news. I have a similar problem...
Your 22 day fast, unfortunately, did not have autolysis, otherwise the cyst would not have returned to the original size. Autolysis means some degree of permanent shrinkage, rather than a deflation/reflation that keeps repeating with no real net structural shrinkage of the cyst.
