Are you on a water only fast - and that means *water only* not "sugar free" soda, coffee, and obviously not juice - and also not any over the counter medication (especially not laxatives - someone here was taking those it is such a bad idea).
Are you drinking at least 1 liter a day but not excessively (not forcing water) - either not drinking or forcing water could cause problems.
If you're not on a water only fast or you're withholding or forcing water, then your explanation is found in that and you should do a normal water only fast. Even sugarless gum will disrupt weight loss with fluid retention because you'll be processing unlisted carbohydrates found in the gum (yes, the FDA lets them do that if they're below a certain amount).
If you have truly been on a water *ONLY* (no exceptions) fast for 4 days...either buy a new scale or accept that its impossible that you couldn't be losing weight - its literally impossible - your body would have to have its own alternative energy supply - you can't use energy (as you do just by living) without getting it from somewhere and if you aren't getting it from your food you must get it from your body - this is a fundamental law of thermodynamics.
