The biggest cause of the SWF not to work is dehydration and the body trying to retain all fluids. Are you drinking at least half your body weight in oz of H2O daily? That would be a start. You might need to drink more depending on what you are eating.
You should NEVER add more than 2 tsp salt per 32 oz of water. The SWF DOES NOT WORK ACCORDING TO THE AMOUNT OF SALT. It works because the ratio of 2 tsp per 32oz of water is the same specific gravity as blood thus it does not get absorbed by the system unless you are dehydrated. Are you using uniodized sea salt??
First you need to drink the minimun of half your bodyweight in oz of water each day. Then I would do a lax tea at bedtime to loosen things up. Upon arising drink 16oz of plain water then 1/2 hr later do the SWF. If by 1 hr later you haven't had any movements then drink another 32 oz of plain water.
Half gallon = 64 oz which mean this is adequate for someone in the 128lbs weight range. The formula is just a a guideline. One of the things that will tell you if you are well hydrated is the color of your pee. When well hydrated your pee should be from very light yellow to clear. If it's medium to dark yellow you need to drink more water. The darker the pee the more dehydrated you are.
The advice on the routine in my previous post still stands
The type of salt and temp can make a world of difference in how the SWF will taste. The light grey Celtic Sea Salt or pink Himlayan will be way mellower than ANY of the white processed salts. Doing the SWF tepid (slightly warm) will be waaay mellower than if done cold
The most obvious cause of "dry bowels" IS dehydration. That is just plain common sense. Then you are ignoring the recommendation to do the lax tea in the previous evening "to loosen things up". Then there is the recommendation of the morning protocol of drinking 16 oz of water upon arising and one qt of plain water if no movement has happened within an hour of doing the SWF. In addition there in the FAQS of the MC forum there is a description from an Ayurdvevic doctor
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=265176#i
of some exercises to do along with the SWF to help it work. BTW the SWF is not unique to the MC. It is a very old Ayurvedic protocol.
If you keep having to rely on enemas to make the SWF work for you, the other obvious thing is that you have a problem with your bowels that you need to address. It is not recommended to do the MC if you are not having at the very least one unassisted bowel movement each day.
