Yesterday was my first fasting day.
and i'm down 4 pounds!! :)
It was a little harder than the first day I had last week. Last week, I was at home alone and at work alone. Yesterday I was at my sister's place, (she started her fast today)
she had huge amounts of food leftover from when the guests were here: Taco dip, homemade pizza, soft oatmeal cookies, etc...
And I didn't break my fast! Everything smelled so great. But I just kept telling myself that eating that will take me further away from my goals. I'm so proud of myself.
Being so over weight, I have not said no to a lot of things in the past, but things are changing for good now.
I can feel myself getting stronger as the time goes by.
More in control and more confident, even though this is the most intense thing I think I have ever done I know I can accomplish it.
Even on 'regular diets' I felt frazzled measuring and counting calories and points and carbs and protein. In the back of my head I sorta knew that it wasn't going to work. But this is so mindless with fast results and no hunger.
it's better for me not to eat it at all than to just have a taste, cause then I'm going to want to eat the whole plate/bowl.
Anyway...
Great job to all you fasters =)))
keep it up, we'll get there.
