So, the "bad" cholesterol is high, the "good" cholesterol is low, the physician prescribed some sort of cholesterol medication and I had to stop taking it on my own because of the ghastly side effects.
Going reduced/natural-fat and high-fiber. I refuse to ingest margerine or butter substitutes, though I can certainly cut down on my intake. I also am prepared to reduce red meats, but I don't particularly like store-bought chickens and organic meats are out of the financial question.
Supplemental suggestions, protocols, and dietary alternatives woud be appreciated! Thanks! :D
