Questions;
1/ Did you receieve a
parasite present taxonomy unknown as a protozoa?
2/ What is the reading for the beneficial e-coli reading?
Beneficial e coli (bec) is not to be confused with the pathogenic strain. bec is the predominant probiotic in the colon and is absolute for the other probiotic strains to take hold. They produce many chemicals which protect the colon from bad bacteria and probably yeast/fungus. If you have low levels of bec, you are probably sick, that is how important bec is.
If you rec'd a PPTU (see above) then you probably have a blastocystis hominis genotype infection. From my research on b hominis, I have run across multiple accredited articles indicating that b hominis has the widest diversity in its dna structure. It was believed that b hominis was non pathogenic and a part of the commenseal micro environment of the colon, this was later disproven. The only issue with the MM testing is that it relies on DNA in order to find the offending pathogen, since there are so many variations or genotypes of b hominis then this may be the issue.
