When consuming various healthy fats, such as fish oil, borage oil, coconut oil, etc., is it better to consume several all together? And thus the body can get what it needs from the mileau of availability? Or is it better to try to segregate the fats and take one at a time, say only fish oil with one meal, only borage with the next, and so on?
Let's say I'm eating a curry made with lots of coconut milk. Is taking a dose of borage oil or flax oil relatively futile, being such a small amount in that sea of coconut fat? - Or taking some cod liver oil at the same meal as eating a whole avocado? Is this a good idea and the best way?
OR, would it be better to wait for the next meal, say a lower-fat meal, and then taking these supplemental fats (for example, with an otherwise fat-free raw fruit and vegetable smoothie, to help absorb fat soluble vitamins)?
