Here's a past post of mine with information that helped me decide "which side": http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1212283#i
When "extremely toxic" there's likely nothing better than daily coffee enemas:
Here's lots of information (it's an "FAQ" in it's working stages): http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1613660#i
The reaction you report is not typical, normally CE's remove things like itchy/rashes and hives (but CE's do cause the liver to expel toxic bile, so it's possible some of that reassimilated).
My first thought though, was did you use organic coffee and either distilled or reverse-osmosis filtered water?
Typical tap water is LADEN with chemicals and toxins (as is some bottled water, even spring waters. Charcoal filters remove only a small percentage) - and non-organic coffee is also very toxic...and since the coffee solution heads directly to the liver, if there's any toxins (and you're already copromised) - well, that could have been the cause of the reaction you reported.
As far as a "cleansing enema afterward", whatever you use for a solution is only going to reach "inches" into the lower colon, but the liver dumps into the duodenum (a bit above the small intestines), so most any 'cleansing enema' isn't going to reach up that far. My choice is to do a "back to back CE" (insert two cups, retain/expel...then repeat). CE's are VERY effective at inducing strong peristalsis (one of the reasons they're sometimes difficult to retain), and that peristaltic action (squeezing motion of the colon) is so effective that many times people actually see gallstones/liver-stones and other liver debris in the toilet when they expel the solution. Be sure to read this to see just how effective a CE is in removing the toxins/debris it helped to expel: curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp
After you read through all the info above, if you have any more questions I'm sure someone will be quick to reply, because there's a LOT of us (I'm answering from the Natural Healing forum) that are doing daily coffee enemas (I've done them myself for several years).
Congratulations on learning to utilize a VERY effective healing & cleansing tool!
Blessings,

Hi fireman1000,
Lie on your left side and don’t try 3 cups just stay with one or two cups until you are comfortable. Then increase ii to 2 retention enemas back to back of 2 cups with a 10/15 minute retention.
Your reaction is not common but not unheard of. Usually it is due either to an allergic reaction to coffee or to too rapid detoxification. Do you have an reaction when you drink say 1 or 2 cups of coffee? If not I would guess that you are detoxifying too rapidly. You could go on a colon cleanse prior to the coffee enemas.
