Hello and thank you everyone who responded to my post. There really is a sense of community and caring that I can feel based on the level of response, Thank You! For the record: I grew up drinking ALOT of milk and constantly had sinus and ear infections. I also had Strep Throat at least a dozen times before I was 18, so I was taking
Antibiotics 3-4 times per year growing up with no intake of ANY probiotics. That fact coupled with the large intake of dairy, which can cause bowel trouble, predisposed me to be vulnerable to the situation I am in now. My digestion has always been very poor, with swelling, bloating, sweats, constipation and mucus in the stool since I was about 5. Fast forward... About a year and a half ago I got ill and tested positive for Mycoplasma, Babesia, and Lyme bacteria. So I was put on MASSIVE amounts of
Antibiotics . Injected, oral you name it. That is what kicked me over the edge and led me into candida land where I have been now for far too long. Of course I saw my doctor, who is a DO and does alternitive practice, but after 3 rounds of Diflucan and Nystatin combined, with no change in the candida situation it became obvious that RX was not going to help me. He offered IV h2o2 treatments, and IV vitamin C but the costs were just way, and I mean way to much to pay. I actually had to leave school and go on disability, so money has to be spent carefully.
I have powder nystatin 150million units in my refridgerator, but have been reluctant to take it. So far, what I've read is that it does not get obsorbed into your body, but only stays in your GI tract. I know nothing else, like if its 'toxic' or not. My doc literally wrote me the RX for it and said, you can try this, but I can't do anything else for you, come back in June. I am just afriad of what I've read about it causing the candida to mutate, and having a big relapse after I stop using it. So I don't for the moment. He also gave me a scriipt for Low Dose Naltrexone, to boost my immune system, but I have not got it filled yet for money reasons.
I tried taking large doses of Vit. C orally and it really almost killed me...I now know why. The pH of Ascorbic Acid is ver low, like around ~3, waaay to acidic! From what I've read, candida thrives in Acidic environment. Big learning experiance, glad I didn't pay $300 to have the Vit. C IV! I have recently purchased sodium ascorbate, with a pH of 7, but have not taken large amounts. Still gun shy. I have been taking h2o2 orally with some ok results, but I think for me the biggest thing that is going to help is pH regualtion and re-mineralizing my body along with the fremented veggies to get good probiotics. I don't know how to do this yet but I am working on it.
I know I can't take Kamboucho (or however you spell it :) because of the acetic acid in it, its like drinking vinegar --worse than the Vit. C as far as my reaction. After getting over the Kambucho reaction, I read that Acetic Acid is like alcohol for candida...a direct food sourse. I have however had success with eating pickles. I purchased some raw pickles from the store and they seemed to help, I think mostly because they have Lactic Acid, and no vinegar. I am going to check out the liknks provided to learn how to do my own lacto-fermented veggies. Thank you for those!
From what I've been reading in the works of Antoine Bechamp, it really doesn't matter what organism you are dealing with, bacteria, yeast..etc, they are all pleo-morphic, meaning they can change from 1 bacteria to another and even from bacteria to yeast, the thing that allows them to live at all is their environement, the micro-organism is irrelevant, its the environment they are in that determines everything. Research it, there is alot written on how the infectious model for disease is a farce. Here is one link, but if you look there is alot more.

The whole raw meat thing is something I am going to stick with for now. Read Aajonus Vonderplanitz's We Want To Live the Primal Diet Book. Also

All my meat is fresh from Whole Foods, with no
Antibiotics , hormones. I am trying it...I can always go back to cooking it.
So remineralizing the body, getting my pH alkaline, improving my digestion and getting nutrient absorption up, and boosting my immune system seem to me at this time the only way to get rid of the candida and really have a shot at a healthy physical body, based on what I've been reading plus the fact that RX's really haven't dented this thing. I agree with others here who believe that building up the body so that these things can't exist is the way to go. Anyone have any good references/reading material on that theory? For me I look at it this way...ever see a homeless person in a gated retirement community...no, why, simple the environment doesn't allow for it...same with the candida over growth, I could be wrong, but at this time I belive changing my internal environment is what is going to lead to healing and health. How to do this...I have NO CLUE!, I am just starting to reach out to learn.
I am going to be eating alot more coconut oil, maybe even do a fast on it, like I read here
http://www.curemanual.com/
What is lemonade/rock salt? Does anyone know a good source of calcium? Is coral calcium better? I am using Ancient Minerals Ultra Pure Magnesium Oil orally and spraying my skin. What about iodine? What baths can you do to remineralize, and alkalize the body? What about alkaline drinks? I eat raw aloe vera stalks, is that the same as LuiqDaily Oxy Aloe? What is the fastest way to mineralize the body?
I am really grateful and supprised at all the initial responses. I would deeply appreciate any and all imput I can get to help me beat this thing. Thank You!
