Hey Gail I feel you on the pollen thing I am am also in ATL and today has been one of the worst days ever, prolly some kinda record high. Even though I'm not fasting the stuff has been murder on me. I was out and about today and my eyes are burning. I came home around 5 just feeling tired and worn out and I laid down and slept from 5 till midnight!! Sooo the pollen could certainly have something to do with how you're feeling.
The cayenne is one of the MOST important elements of the MC that help amp up circulation and cut mucous to aid the system to eliminate toxins. Cayenne is a very potent and amazing cleansing and healing herb. I've heard the MC refered to as a "cayenne delivery system" While you say you are puttin a little under your tongue I can tell you that most experienced MCers put a whole 1/4 tsp in each drink of the hottest cayenne they can find of no less than 90K HU.
On my 1st MC I also thought Fungus!! no way I was gonna be able to do the cayenne for 40 days and that was just 1/10th tsp as per the recipe. Well I just sucked it up and within 3 days I was fine and even gradually started adding more cayenne and in a week or so more I was up to a full 1/4 tsp of the 90K HU stuff no problems whatsoever. You do build up a tolerance quite easily and fast, I promise. The tolerance thing isn't just for me but a very common thing for many that just suck it up and start slowly and gradually adding it to the drink. I highly recommend that you give it a shot and amp up the drink gradually at your own pace. You'll be glad you did.
In the mean time try to stay indoors in places with AC which helps filter out the pollen and drink lots of lemonade and lots of water to keep things moving.
Hey Rooth I wouldn't try and get a whole days ration in all at once. It can possibly cause you discomfort on an empty fasting system. Just be gentle and just do "some". Tomorrow will be another day.
Most of the temperate regions of the country with pine trees and oaks are having high pollen counts and I have no doubt that that is having an effect on folks. I'm not MCing right now but I was planning on starting maybe this weekend but I'm postponing till this heavy pollen subsides. I haven't left my air conditioned house today cept to go to the mailbox and my car once and my eyes are burning and I'm feeling totally lethargic.
