Let's say the story book fantasy of the bible is true to some degree only with a bit of a twist.
Let's say that god is one of many gods. Let's say "he" is just your average god in god land and is not as infallible as he has sold himself to be to his creations.
Now let's say satan too is a real entity and there are many satans as well in satan land. Each satan is assigned to a realm such as "our" satan is.
Lets say that satan overtook god in this realm and god was powerless. Let us also say that satan was given a false bill by the weak god and that satan was every bit as powerful and had his own way of doing things, perhaps even ,ore fair than the god character.
Let's say you were doomed if you went with god and the only way to be saved and have eternal life was to go with the winner in this realm, and in this hypothetical the winner is satan.
How would that change things for ya?
Don't you love plot twists in fantasy land?

That's what I call blanket ridicule. If you want people to respond to your post without disdain, comments like this create unneeded tension, and responses may not be as objective. This is your contribution to the energy of the forum.
In response I state that this hypothetical is not possible;)
And as far as the Bible being a fantasy, it is not because I have seen and read the Book and it is very real. If you want to say the history or stories within the Bible is a fantasy that is fine to have that opinion. But keep in mind there are other qualities in the Bible besides the stories, for example there are philosophical lessons taught in the form of parables which explain the logic of Christianity and existing in a reality of truth.

Thanks for honing the point. "Hypothetical" has a defined meaning that does not change by its very nature. This is why the secular world of delusion where the truth is LIEquid is false.

This is a reply to # 1,604,857In order to answer the question I would have to ask too many questions about the conditions of the hypothetical. Since IC believes in LIEquid truth I would have to ask him about the meaning of each word in his hypothetical. Once I did that he would then perceive what I said by whatever definitions he arbitrarily decided to give to the words used. The hypothetical is loaded and I see no reason to address a hypothetical that is designed to create confusion.
Sooo...There is no diversion or spin, these are facts that have been determined through the history of this forum. Why don't you set an example and answer the hypothetical yourself? Or are you just going to try and divert, spin, and point toward others?- Re: Another Hypothetical MatrixMaven

There is no need for me to answer the hypothetical question, because I do not believe I am doomed, nor do I feel the need to be saved.
The question was posed to believers in god and satan.
However since you would like me to answer, and since you ARE diverting the question back to me, I'll answer in a hypothetical way, as if I were a christian. How's that!
If I were a christian, and living with the fear of eternal damnation, according to IC's question, I suppose I would go with the only safe solution. I would certainly not want to be doomed and certainly would want to be saved and have eternal life. I would choose satan, since in this story, the same things are at stake. Either eternal damnation or salvation and eternal life!!! Hmmm, in this story, satan holds the key!- Re: Another Hypothetical bewnyfur

Since I believe in the power of words and their meanings, the hypothetical flipping of the scriipt does not make sense, so I don't know how I could answer it, Other than the responses I have already given which WERE answers. You just did not accept them as such.
