I've been a picky eater for as long as I can remember and while I avoid as much as I can things like soda in favor of water, and try not to eat easy-to-avoid processed foods, I'm still basically a meat, bread, and cheese kind of guy. I KNOW that this isn't healthy and really want to change; so instead of eating a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch, that I can eat some fresh vegetables instead.
The problem is that when I even try to eat something I don't like, especially really gross things like Broccoli, I literally gag and spit it out. IT annoys the heck out of me.
Last year I decided to put an end to this nonsense through use of a hypnotist as I have heard stories of people being cured of various things from smoking to weight loss. I went to a reputable hypnotist and had my session.
During the session, I never felt like I was under his control, i.e. I didn't fall into hypnosis. He asked ma various questions that I couldn't answer because I was still me if that makes sense. After it was all over, I told him that I don't think I was "under" and he said that it's common to feel that way. But I know that nothing happened that day.
I went to him a second time, and it was the same. I've been told you can't be hypnotized unless you really want to be and I do so it's frustrating..
Do I spend more money on a different hypnotist? Is self hypnosis possible? I really do want to change my eating habits. I'd love nothing more than to eliminate dairy and bread because I know they're bad.
What can I do? I want to change but my mind, my tastebuds, I don't know what it is, but something is preventing it against my better judgement...
I'd also like to add that my aunt has just been given 6 months to live due to pancreatic cancer and I know if I continue on this path, I will probably end up there later in life. I do as much as I can to fight the effects of my meat/cheese/bread diet; I take
Colloidal Silver that I make at home (thanks to the helpful members of this site) I take ACV too...
As a side note, does anyone know how to get email notifications actually sent to your email address for new posts on CureZone? I've never gotten a single email notification of replies to my topics and always have to log in to curezone to check. And I check the boxes to receive the notifications.... Any advice on that would be great..
Thanks,
Mike
