Once she starts counseling, she shouldn't be surprised if she is encouraged to file charges against her stepfather.

In the meantime, once she seeks out help, the best you can do for her is to be patient and supportive.

Okay, if she's not comfortable with her body then discuss it with her and if possible you can work together to make changes. Like a lot of people are upset because they are fatty (I know I am) so doing fitness stuff can help reduce fattyness of the body.

Another thing is, if she is apprehensive to be touched, a lot is due to fear and so forth. If you help her build strength from weightlifting it could potentially increase her confidence, if she is muscular she will feel more capable of handling herself.

Furthermore, movements help to increase awareness and confidence in the body. Especially some moves which are sort of embrassing but you get used to like squats, good mornings, gymnastic bridges, half glute bridges, the downward dog yoga pose, etc.

I think if you pursue physical activities in a platonic manner it will greatly help with body image, confidence, and most of all feeling comfort and trust building up so that she's more comfortable around you.

Just jumping from the relative lack of contact and activity people have to something like sex is very awkward. Even if you have a pleasant response to manual stimulation it isn't often enough to get over it right away.

If you love her wait, seriously, she was through an ordeal and secondly, I'm not sure about the situation, but if this is her first time, then any girl will be nervous, if not, still she has been through alot.

Encourage her to get counselling to deal with the trauma and just be there and be supportive, but be patient it might take a while, and if you really do care and this is a serious relationship as you say it is, you will be willing to wait as long as is neccesary.
