Everyone (not just "full IPers" of course...see "note to everybody below" :) can use the love & support of the wonderful spirits that create the foundation of this forum. I (we) are SO blessed by the fantastic people that have come together to make this a true 'haven of healing'!
Here's a HUGE "Uny Welcome" and major 'applause & kudos' to Miss H's friend, for having all the gumption (and doing all the learning) it takes to heal yourself naturally! WELCOME!!!
>>> I have tears in my eyes as I type this - knowing how wealthy I am for all the support you all have given me and that you'll extend the same excitement and unconditional support for her.<<< I "know" those tears...it seems like not a day goes by that I don't find myself with a few tears (and/or "spirit goose-bumps") from being a part of the incredibly positive energy, love and blessings that we all share for (and with) each other.
Important note to everybody: As this forum grows and matures, we will have MANY more people that are healing themselves while dealing with cancer and other "incurable" (not!) diseases & syndromes...and this is as good as time as any to bring to light something that may negatively impact us all.
Frustratingly & sadly, as a society (and as individuals), we are typically programed & conditioned to view & respond to other people that have "cancer" :::: insert ridiculous shudder & scary organ music here :::: (or other life-threatening diseases) as something other than very real people with very real fears & struggles of their own. In fact we tend to perceive their illness as 'what they are' (or, we avoid communication & interaction because the idea of "that kind" of illness is something we want to stay VERY far away from). So, instead of reaching out to them naturally and comfortably (as we would want others to do if WE were in their shoes), it's typical to respond with fear, discomfort, this strange/backwards kind of "pity-thing", or other unhealthy emotion/s and/or combinations of negativity & "unnaturalness". Basically (many times!) talking and interacting normally with someone that has cancer, another serious disease, or someone that's confined to wheelchair, etc., makes us uncomfortable (for some totally ridiculous reason). And then we tend to withdraw, and NOT offer the very same love & support that we would extend normally. After two years working at a Hospice, I've seen this happen HUNDREDS of times...and not just to casual acquaintances, but to 'best friends' and beloved family members. Yep, it's true...and it's definitely another thing we ALL need to learn to UNDO (especially if this forum is going to be a healing oasis that you can depend upon to be the support you need if you come back with test results that the allopathic world considers "life threatening" or "incurable").
Along these same lines, I know that many people consider others that are doing the "full IP" to be towers of strength, bundles of joy & wisdom, and solid boulders of tenacity, fortitude and never-ending/unlimited self-discipline...and we feel "less" than them. And like there's absolutely nothing we can do or say that could possibly help someone that's got the courage and will-power to do the ::::here's the scary organ music again, lol:::: "the full IP"! But absolutely NOTHING could be further from the truth!! In fact, most of the time just the OPPOSITE is true.
So then, as this forum grows & matures...let's each of us grow along with it (for ourselves, for each other and for the foundation & strength of the forum). And let's be sure to do our best to ditch our "old tapes", ridiculous fears, and programed emotions...so that we can ALL "be the change we want to see in the world" -- and continue to make this forum into the precious 'healing place' we can ALL come to whenever we need a friend we can depend upon, a swift kick in the butt, a safe harbor in the storm of life, or a blanket & pillow of love, compassion and peace.
And you know what? (this is the really cool part) - when we do this for ourselves and for each other...? we will save ourselves (and others) from the horrors of allopathic medicine; we will be able to live long lives of truly vibrant health, and best of all...? We WILL change the world!!
NEVER doubt that small group of thoughtful, committed people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. Margaret Mead

Hi niteblume,
First off I want to welcome you to the forum, I'm glad you decided to post.
I know EXACTLY how you feel about telling people they can heal their bodies naturally and forego what the doctors are telling them. The truth of the matter is that we're fighting an uphill battle. What's that old saying? You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink! And sadly that is too true!
The problem as I see it is that we've all been raised or most of us anyway to believe everything a doctor tells us, we've been conditioned by society to look to them for our health and well being. What very few people know is that doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical drugs are the third leading cause of death in the United States. The reason most don't know this? They have to do the research to find it and when a person is faced with something like cancer they go into survival mode, scared to death so they look to their doctor to heal them. The truth of the matter is that doctors and pharmaceuticals don't heal anything, they just mask/cover-up the symptoms. In other words they treat the symptom never getting down to the CAUSE of the symptom and people think they're healed.
Trying to change a persons way of thinking after a lifetime of conditioning isn't an easy task. I've got a friend who all of a sudden had a gallbladder attack about 4 months ago. They took her to the emergency room, found she had stones in her gallbladder and scheduled surgery 4-5 days later. I KNEW she could pass those stones naturally with just a little effort so I got all the information together on how she could get those stones out and save her gallbladder. She read it all and told me she just couldn't do it so I gathered all the information saying that 9 out of 10 people who have their gallbladder carved out will have problems associated with it for the rest of theirs lives. Guess what? She had it taken out anyway and now she is suffering with those very problems!
It is really hard to see our loved ones go the allopathic way when we KNOW they can heal naturally but all we can do is tell them and hope for the best. Sometimes I feel like I just want to scream from the mountain top, YOU CAN HEAL YOUR BODY USING ONLY NATURAL METHODS lol. Patience and perseverance is how I approach it now with my friends, one step at a time with love and compassion.
I feel like its my responsibility to let people know there is another option to the medical community but ultimately its their choice. I don't let the negativity get to me, if I did I'd never open my mouth again lol. We can only do our best to get the word out.
Blessings.
Willow
Niteblume I forgot to give you a link to a post Uny made since you said you were trying to gather all you could on the IP components, just in case you haven't seen it. ;)
