I get my castor oil from The Heritage Store.

Be sure to get cold pressed. All castor oil is NOT created equal. Castor oil that has been processed at high heat loses most of its healing benefits thats why its so important to make sure it is COLD PRESSED.
I know you must be getting excited to finally deliver that precious baby. We'll be thinking about you and praying for an easy delivery.
Blessings,
Willow
Thanks Telly, good point.
I just went and looked at my bottle of castor oil I got from Heritage and it says right on the bottle "Hexane Free & Certified" so I'm good to go lol.
Now that I've got the bottle out I think I'm gonna soak a pair of old socks in it, put um on my feet, wear um all day and see how 'baby butt soft' my feet end up being lol. Uny has told me its shocking how great it works so I'm gonna put it to the test! :))
Wow, eight hours? Never knew it'd stay hot that long, thats great. Let us know if its really true when you use it.
Thanks Telly.
That first reviewer came back after two years and said the water bottle has held up and is still being used. Thats great to know since when we use a heating pad we're being exposed to EMF's. I never even considered using a water bottle because I thought the hot water would be cold in less than about 45 minutes but according to the reviews thats not the case.
I can't wait to hear how long it stays hot for you.
I agree, 4 hours is great!
Okay, I've saturated a pair of ankle socks in castor oil, put them on then wrapped my feet in Saran Wrap and put on a pair of my husbands socks over that. I don't go to bed until like 3:00am so I'll take them off when I take my shower before I go to bed. Since its now just about 4 in the afternoon thats a good long time, longer than if I wore them to bed, so I'll see how 'baby butt soft' my feet are and let you know.
It sure feels yucky when I walk lol but it'll be worth the strangeness for the soft feet lol.
One more thing I forgot to mention.
The only drawback as far as I can tell with using castor oil is that its so hard to get off your skin. I've always used paper towels first then washed and washed my hands and whatever part the C.O. is on even after all that my skin still feels sticky.
Today I got the biggest part off with a paper towel then used a handmade soap I bought at the local fair this summer. Its oatmeal/almond and its got real oatmeal in it. I only had to wash my hands one time! It got every tiny little sticky stuff off my hands!!! YAY!!! And they feel soooo soft too!
I hear ya, I'm not gonna get outta bed to take a shower either lol. I'm just glad to have found something I had on hand to get off the sticky.
At least now I know that Dr. Bronnor's will take it off when I run out of my bars of soap, thanks.
Hey Telly, thought I'd tell you that Uny just told me that baking soda mixed in a little water, or I guess you could use straight baking soda, would get the sticky from off the skin.
Also, I had forgotten that she told me that a dry rough cotton towel gets it off pretty good too. ;))
Thanks VK. I'm good for now cause I bought a quart and whatever I saturate I put in a ziploc bag, it keeps for a very long time. That way I don't use as much of it. I'd have had to buy many quarts by now if I didn't re-use the cloth I've saturated.
But thanks for the heads up on Amazon, that is a great price.
After seeing the results of having my feet wrapped in castor oil socks for 10 hours yesterday I've decided I'd love to slather castor oil all over my body, every little inch of it lolololol!
Thats how great my feet look and feel! I can't begin to tell you how soft they are and how great they look. Uny was right, 'baby butt soft' lol.
I also want to say that after unwrapping my feet I wiped them off with a paper towel and got right in the shower. I used only my organic plant based body wash and it all came off with no sticky feeling left at all.
Uny reminded me that we don't want to "scrub" too hard trying to get the oil off because we might scrub the oil right out of whatever part we've applied it to and we don't want to lose any of the healing we've created!
