First off - good for you for being angry. You know your feelings and know what it's related to. So many people are programmed to bury their anger where it builds up and becomes both inwardly and outwardly destructive. Anger is a great healing if you allow it to run within your own reality and don't allow it to be destructive or vented at others.
As you know, dreams are highly symbolic and generally represent what we are working on at the present time. Also, nobody can tell you what your dream means - except you. Some can give you guidance but in the end it is you alone who can understand the dream. I would suspect that the bird represents you and that the string in the bird's feet represents a restraint. Your daughter is assisting or agreeing with your letting go of restraints in your life. As we do this and make growth and change others don't like what we are doing because they like the "old" you who they can manipulate and not the new you who is able to be your real self. The string is gone, but you returned the bird into the cage. Do you feel that you yourself are in a cage? Did the tree represent thoughts you have within that you don't wish to return to the cage? That you want your complete freedom?
Just some thoughts.
Thank you for your response.
Withdrawal when hurt is a very normal response. Yet coming back to face the issues you withdrew from shows a great amount of courage and growth.
We are all free. Everyone of us. That's what we are here to recognize. Accept it, and you become free.
