this has come up in several conversations with me lately and i think it is time to address the lies and the truth about male ejaculations and what it means from a health perspective.
this discussion will, of necessity, not only cover the biological aspects of manufacturing and expelling semen but the body cannot be divorced from the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of this phenomenon.
what our young people are told is basically "cum your a$$ off" or something to that effect. when one is 15 this makes perfect sense and like many other activities that are deleterious to health, the rebound owing to the resilience of youth seems to afford proof that it does no harm. this appears to be a false perception at best and possibly a gross delusion leading to addiction and ruined health.
i can simply state those things which i think apply here, though i welcome contrary POVs and corroborative articles and studies as well. lets get to the bottom of this, for our youth's sake if nothing else.
first assertion - semen costs the body a lot to produce. not only does is contain a lot of nutrients that the body has selected as "choice" and delivered to this job, it takes a lot of energy to produce each one of those replications of DNA and insure they are correct and viable. there is also the little vector himself, squiggly tail and all. thats a hell of a farm a guy packs between his legs and all farms take hard work and tender loving care.
then there is the physiological effect of the orgasm itself. some have described this as a little taste of death, same as with some hallucinogenic drugs. the toll it takes on the energy pathways can be at once relaxing and stressful.
there is also a spiritual component which cannot be discounted. the whole biologic reason for sex is procreation. this has consequences. mating is always risky and usually an elaborate affair in nature. many times it is the death knell for the parents. just like there is no need for a being that lives forever to procreate to replace itself, so too, the being that procreates has no need to keep on living beyond the time it takes for the offspring to become viable on their own. this has to have a message in it, and an impact.
and finally, ladies... your insights into this are most welcome. just like us guys cant really know what its like to bear a child or have a period, this particular phenomenon must surely escape you in some way or another. but we humans have trouble sometimes stepping outside of ourselves and looking back to see ourselves from a different perspective. your input will be invaluable, i am sure of it.
ok, everybody. chop, chop. times a waistin'.
