Hello Ladies.
I just wanted to send so encouragement to all of you. you are really early in the rebalancing process. It does get better, but it sometimes can be a long process. A piece of advice I can give you is to pick someone who has been posting for a while here. If you read their posts, you will see as time goes on, they go from scared, confused, doubtful, ANGRY etc, to more rational, and then into more of a supportive mode. eventually our posts slow down and most stop. (with a random, crazed couple of "crash posts tossed in there of course, lol)
Bass, you sound exactly like me around 4 months (but no reflux on my end). It was horrid, and it was a little early for me. My period came (and still does) early. My GP theorized that this could be the time where our hormones are really fighting to rebalance. All I remember was that it SUCKED, so hang in there. Mrs. Nelson used to post about the GERD alot. You might want to look her up, she had some very good advice. we havent heard from her in quite a while. I chose to believe that is because she is well.
I am rounding the 1 year mark next month. I still have lingering fatigue and bad pms, but I am in a very stressful "life" situation right now, and also in periomenopause (thank you, Mirena). It's quite possible that at this point those factors are the cause for my remaining problems.
Anyhow, keep breathing....and be gentle with yourselves. Most of all, hang in there and keep holding onto that light at the end of this godawful tunnel.
Hugs and smiles to all of you....Jill
