yes, it was me who had talked about the MS before.
I was told (and I take everything with a grain of salt anymore) but I was told that most of the time, the MS is a very sudden thing of extreme numbness... not occassional numbness that comes and goes. For instance, my grandmother has MS. She said she woke up one morning, stood up, and fell down right on her face...
That doesnt mean I dont still have the concerns, but it did make me feel better.
My appt today went about as expected. No real answers. To be honest, I didnt bring up Mirena this time... I just brought up my symptoms, mainly my dizziness that has been here since my pre-mirena days. But I gave the full list of my symptoms again, and told her that it has all been going on since my last appt there (in January).... she is putting me on a different migraine med and I have to go back in 3 months... then will reassess.. So basically, no answers.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS is that she did not even bring up MS. She did have me walk again for her, and watch how i carry my feet, and also had me do some other exercises that she did in January to 'test' me... I was thinking that she may want to do further testing for stuff but she didnt seem that concerned neurologically speaking... The did the MRI already in December on me and I had talked to two different neurologists about MS then, but I just still thought maybe they would think that direction... but it feels good that i have been evaluated 3 times for MS and still dont seem to have it... it makes me feel fairly confident that I dont.
Best of luck to you all.
